I was inspired to crochet around squares so I thought a babies blanket might be just the size and decided to put the "Patchwork Teddy Bears" designs in alternate blocks.

It turned out bigger than I thought more like a cot quilt!!!

This is very nice and pretty. I used to crochet with small cotton thread and I think you have done a great job here. I hope it goes to someone who appreciates your work, or at least I hope their parent does.

The details are gorgeous. The colors are so soft and the crochet is so dainty there is going to be a happy baby wrapped up in this. Love it :)

That is very cool! Is each block crocheted together or hand stitched together with thread? Did you put a solid color on the back of each block? Thanks for sharing.

First I put a blanket stitch around the block with the sewing machine so as to have something to pick up with the crochet hook and then I crocheted them together. The fabric on the back for each square is the same as on the front. Christine

This baby blanket has a feel of the old country.
My mom made many crocheted trimmed blankets and bibs. So beautiful and precious :)
