I have spent so much time & money on fancy dusters over the years & the replacement parts can be costly! now that I am older & a bit wiser I have decided to create my own! A greener option & the more you wash flannel the fluffier the frayed edges will become so even better. I have added a link for instructions for those who expressed interest in making one as well

DUST? DUSTER? Not sure if one will fit my hand! Just kidding. This is a great idea! Thank you for your many ideas! Hugs, Suzanna

Polar fleece works even better...I use scraps for swifter sweepers.

If you go to zippydesignz.com she has these in the hoop designs, and for swifter floor mops.

Great idea - where did you get the handle? Is it one you had previously bought with the fibers already attached?

Great idea! I already make reusable Swiffer dusters for my floor from the microfiber hand towels at the Dollar Store. I get 3 from a towel and they last a really long time. And I use old wash cloths and towels to create mop covers to mop the floor. Gonna try this one too. Thanks for sharing Loralye!

Very Nice!! An option I will try. I use old wash cloths sewn together to form the pocket I need to put on a Swifer Mop. Works great on hardwood floors. Also cleaning with Vinegar water instead of expensive spray cleaners.
