Is it my imagination or is the price of embroidery thread going up and the spools getting smaller. Looking to buy a new supply some of them you get a lot of spools but then find out they are only 500 m. So I'm spending the same or more and getting less. That's my gripe of the day ,now I feel better

Several friends and myself have used Metro thread for years and we have had no problem. And yes it is inexpensive and the small spools have 1000 yards on them.

While Metro thread is very inexpensive as someone already pointed out, I definitely would never buy it again. It shreds terribly. Hugs. Nan W

I have quite a few metro threads, both small and large cones, no problems using it with an Ellageo, Ellegante, or Brother 270SE.

Double check that what you believe was 1100 meters was not actually yards. Everything is getting more expensive.

You are right,it wasn't actually yards. I found what I needed

I am so grateful I spent last year stocking up on thread and stabilizer. It is also happening to fabric. I noticed that fabric from China is now 42 inches wide. Sigh.
