Up date on the kittens.... The runt was bitten by his brother playing...They now have their milk teeth...the runt developed an abscess on his neck jaw and leg. He had to go to the vets today have surgery to lance the abscess... He has two drains in his neck and I have to put antibiotic ointment in the tube twice a day. He got a shot of antibiotic that lasts in his system for two weeks. His name is Bogart.

His two siblings are doing fine and eating like there is no tomorrow.
I also had to put down a feral that run over by a car today too. Sad.... So we have been at the vets all day.
Hopefully al will go well with Bogart. he goes back to have the drains out Wednesday.

With your tender care Bogart I hope will soon be getting better. Do not forget cats really do have 9 lives. I have seen miraculous recoveries and sure you have too/Lillian

That is too bad. The birds I am watching have a killer instinct to them and there was a warning about siblingcide. Glad that is not happening here. The big ones will really overpass him now that his energy has to go to healing and not growing. I hope you have eyes on the back of your head, I would hate for something worse to happen.

Poor little darling, I do hope Bogart will be 100% by the time he goes into have his drains out. I know cat abscesses are so poisonous so let's pray that the bites heal quickly. Love Chris

My prayers continue. I'm glad we now know why the abscesses developed and so glad Dr. T was able to save him. Bogart is a little miracle kitten as are the other two.
