Marvelous,Karen!! What a wonderful trip for you. Hope we have some Irish Cuties that you can get to see/Lillian.
Karen you will love Ireland the people and the land are truly amazing. The one thing I found surprizing is pepper gravy on everything meal wise, my hubby thought it was great but I don't like pepper..
How wonderful Karen that you may get to Ireland and I'm so sorry to read that your FIL is not well. I've never been there, but we have very dear friends who have been often and just love it. I'm sure you will get lots of ideas from ethan. Love Chris
Karen, what part(s) of Ireland do you think you might visit? I've been there a few times, and may be able to share some tips if you know in which areas you will be. Thanks.
Ethan lives in Ireland but I don't know where
What a wonderful trip you'll have even though you are going under sad circumstances. Enjoy.
I can only say - have a wonderful time. You certainly deserve it. Hugs Sarah
I lived in Wicklow town as a child it is a lovely place, Dublin is Electric love the crack and spent a lot of time there. Have a great time.. I live in Cheshire,U.K.now
It is an absolutely beautiful country and the people are so friendly. We loved the small villages, they all seemed to have a lovely bakery or pub where you could stop for a lovely lunch and if there were any others in the place, always a nice conversation. My choice of a must see is the Qaterford factory-fascinating to watch them make that beautiful cut crystal.
Alas Waterford glass is no more but there is a smaller factory in Waterford city
Oh Karen I am sorry that you are going under sad conditions but happy that you get to visit Ireland! Don't kiss the Blarney stone. The locals laugh @ tourists who do because come night fall they urinate on it. True fact. Enjoy as much as you can ~hugs~
