hi do you know how to design your own cross stitch in PE design 7....im pulling my hair out ...going bald now...sniff sniff
I am afraid I don't. I use 5D or 6D for cross stitch and know how to do it in Embird. Both have a special cross stitch module.
Beautiful! Now do some little chickens or ducks for my aprons. LOL
Very pretty mops. I use to make designs on graph paper, when I cross stitched by hand. I wouldn't know how to begin, in a software program, as I am pc illiterate. You do very nice designs.
You do it exactly the same way. The cross stitch modules show a graph and you let your imagination run riot and left click on the squares you want to fill in with a chosen colour.
its really pretty Martine & Carolyn's stitchouts are terrific too
Very Pretty, Can't wait to see the finished product. :-)
Lotsa Love
Nicky
It looks wonderful. I wish I had a large enough hoop to stitch this size of design. I think I am out-growing the hoops I have now. Maybe it's time to think about a new machine!
Beautiful...I love the "oval" look but it the corner leaves make it a rectangle...lovely!
Thanks. It is always a challenge to make corners that look right. I started to digitise the top left two flowers and the two leaves. Knew the hoop size I wanted, so the it was a matter of lengthening the stem and copying, mirroring and pasting, figuring out what to do in the middle; adding the vertical parts and trying out some corners. Made some 200x260 ones as well and had to think again about the middle and getting it symmetrical. Nice brain gymnastics.
I know what you mean. I've been fiddling with the iris design to get different shapes and sizes. I began with a corner and a border section and copied and mirrored them into position.
Oh, this is lovely! Will you be putting this up on Yoriko's site? I surely hope so!
oh it looks lovely ,hope i can pick up my sewing machine today ,i am going to ask ,the bobbin winder was going 90 miles an hour but****i still have my 200x260 frame for my Topaz husqvarna machine. Thanks hugs
Lovely!! Wonderful talent, Martine! Hugs, Laura*
