Beautiful towels. Have a safe and wonderful trip and especially enjoy your friends.
Thanks Joanne, we have so far. Melbourne is very cold compared to Newcastle. Love Chris
Hi Chris, These towels are beautiful, love the colours. Thankyou for sharing. Can't wait to meet you. Love Lorraine xxxxx
Hi Lorraine, yes, I hope my girlfriends like these. Love Chris
P.S. I am also looking forward to our morning tea together!
Hi Chris, great Father Christmas, too many stitches for me! Hope you have a good holiday. Does your sister still live in Tumby Bay?
Hi VIcki, yes, he is gorgeous isn't he? The ones I'm stitching out at the moment (Christmas trees from 3 Bells) are over 36,000 stitches too!
Yes, Julie still lives in Tumby Bay. She loves it over there. Unfortunately we won't be catching up with her. Love Chris
wow! that is large. Nice to have a special Christmas towel or two. I did some of those Patchwork potholders where you lay folded piecesx4, with bottom and batting. Stitch around edge and fold inside out. lot less than 36000!!!haha
I love emblibrary! But they DO take a while to stitch out!! Only use their designs for special folks!! These look great!
Hi Gerry, you are right long time stitching out and of course these are going to my oldest friends who live in Adelaide. So I know they will appreciate the workmanship! Love Chris
That's a great stitchout! Love that Santa. You much have a fabulous machine! With all the thread changes and my slow machine, it'd take me several hours to get it stitched out.
Thanks Penny - I have a Husqvarna Designer 1 SE and a Brother Quattro Innovis Eye 6700D - I prefer the stitchout of the Husqvarna though - sometimes the white thread of the cotton shows through - you can see it clearly in the picture on the right! Love Chris
Stunning designs!!!!Excellent work you did...So Lovely!!!
the red santas are absolutely beautiful
Thanks very much Ansie, I don't think I've ever welcomed you to this site, so welcome. Love Chris
Beautiful & well worth the time & effort Chris, they will love them! Have a great fun time!~hugs~
Thanks Loralye, I often wonder when I put on really big designs whether people will use them, I would, so I hope they do too. Love Chris
This is very pretty. Love the red towel and how the design shows on it.
Have fun.
Oh, Chris...this Santa is gorgeous! Love Emb Library designs...have a wonderful time with Lolli and your "oldies but goodies" too...we will miss you here!
Thanks Kim, I'm in the middle of doing a Christmas tree on the two machines - going side by side at the moment. I can't wait to see all the old friends. Love Chris
Sounds fabulous Chris . These look great! Go and have lots of fun./Lillian
beautiful work Chris , enjoy your get-together
Thanks Monika, I can't wait to see some of these people. One couple I've not seen since we got married 43 years ago! Yikes, I wonder if I'll even recognise him - he only married his wife in 1988. We got married in 1972. Love Chris
Your Santa's are all so gorgeous......all the towels you made will be so well received!! Have fun on your trip!!
Thanks Vicki, I'm so glad you like them. I'm sure the women who are receiving them will love them too. I intend having a great time reminiscing! Love Chris
He looks really nice on these red towels. I agree with you - a cheery towel can brighten up any holiday. Have a safe trip and enjoy your time with friends.
Thanks so much, I can't wait to see them all. By the way what is your name? Love Chris
Wow Chris these towels are my favourite among all the santas you have done :) the design has come out really well!
I hope this one didnt trouble you like others did....you have used such lovely colours! :)
Thanks Fatima, no this one was great. The Misty Mountain ones were a bit of a challenge. I've got a lot of Santa designs and this Embroidery Library is lovely, but very stitch intensive. Love Chris
