Very cute dress. Thank you for sharing, Happy Stitching :~)
I think the rick rack really set it off! Good job!
It looks almost like you took the pillow case dress idea and built upon it, and with great success I might add! I agree with you; the green rick rack really makes that dress something special. I bet that she just loves to come visit you, with all of the goodies that come from your machine and imagination! Congratulations on your project.
If you have enough fabric, you could put a ruffle across the bottom of it instead of fussing with a hem. Just double the fabric and use a gathering foot or a ruffling foot to make quick work of the hem. Way cool project!
I have used every last bit so no more & I can't remember where I found it so I can't go & get more....matching shorts would be cute too. She told her mom when we were coming to visit that "she loved her mommy ever so much but Nana was her most favoritest person in the whole wide world" made my day lol
Little Miss Ava will love this bright and cheery sun dress. You did a super job on it for having no pattern. Don't forget to post a picture of her wearing it. Hugs Lynn.
Cute!!! You ladies are so talented. I would never try to make any thing without a pattern. I crochet and knit with patterns...
