For today.- 10 turbans I have made today for the Cancer Center. Just 1 of the projects my Homemakers Club helps with. I cannot go and do a lot of what the others do so I sew when I can to help. They are all made from 2 way stretch knit fabric like Tee shirt fabric, and it was all donated to me by my daughter. Had to stop and take a break so thought I would show to you while I was resting a min. The pattern comes from the Internet, free. I used my sewing machine, too difficult to get my Serger out right now. There are 3 pieces the body, the band and the tab.. You use pin tucks to help shape it/Lillian

They are beautiful, and so practical. I am sure the patients appreciate having these lovely head covers, and all your hard work in making them. You are an angel.

Thank you! The Cancer Center's are always asking for these and there are very few towns that don't have more than one Cancer Center They give these to their patients The men get caps.

What a generous and kind lady you are Miss Lillian! I know the recipients will cherish these as they were made with love and kindness. Such lovely warm endearing colours too. Love Chris (still in Adelaide)

Miss Lillian, you have made me smile. I remember my sweet mother wearing one of these when she lost her hair from chemo. She looked so very cute! Thank you for doing these. I know the recipient will be so grateful to have something soft against their sensitive skin, and she won't know why but it will make her happy to have it on. I know why, it has love stitched up in it.

This is so sweet of you and your daughter, especially you, with all you have to do already. Your daughter chose well, I like the pink and brown swirls. I know these were made from the heart and others will appreciate the need for them. Bless you both-Toogie
