Looks great even if it is to high. If they are hand made bibs-stitch them on the fabric first then cut pattern out after stitching is done. If not, if they are store purchased I use sticky wash away. Hope that helps you out a little. Thank you for sharing Happy Stitching ;~)
My middle and sometimes the very back is a table clothe vinyl with white fuzzy on it .Works excellent to keep the baby dry and washes great i am told .Go to dollar store and buy a white one you can embroider right threw it all hugs
Love this wee bib and it sewed out great i see
Cut your stabilizer bigger than the hoop then you can put the bib where ever you need it.
Lovely job of this design. You are on a roll keep it up.
Awwww, this is so cute. May I ask where the design is from?
I did change the label as it was numbers ( I have trouble with just numbers & I am in the midst of redoing my files since I can't find my rose lol) & I am thinking OPW but all I have now is 1049a-1051a Sheep & Kitten. Sorry I'm afraid I am not much help
I hoop my bibs with stabalizer. However, I don't try to get the whole bib hooped. In other words, usually the top part is not caught at the neck line..but that's ok, it's always held. You can tape it at the top if you are worried about it moving. The lamb bib is adorable! I've used both the cheaper WalMart bibs & the solid knit ones from Babies R Us (assuming they also have them at ToysRUs). The cheaper ones have held up for washing, but my grands seem to outgrown their bibs before they wear them out.
I love little lambs for babies because that is what they are. You have done a nice job with this little lamb/Lillian
This is a very cute little lamb. Hopefully they will chose a theme soon and let you know. That way you can select more designs to coordinate with the baby's room and accessories. Nice work!
Hoop just your stabilizer. Then pin the bib so that the design hits where you want it to.
However, Loralye, if you have a WalMart available, their little terry solid color bibs that come on a card in a set fit perfectly in my 4x4 hoop and I DON'T stabilize. There is a plastic lining that makes it stable enough.
i disagree because I have done those with stabelizer under them and after a while the plastic tears. Much wiser to get the bibs at Toys R Us and much better quality and hold up washing after washing and embroiders well.
thank you both very much, normally I make my own bibs but will keep this in mind for future reference ~hugs~
