I really like what you have done with your fat quarters Toogie. This turned out real well/Lillian
Hi toogie, you are truly an amazing sewer, just love all that you do. Thankyou so much for sharing. Love Lorraine of South Australia
You must stop saying you made a mistake on the one in sewing! You really didn't you PLANNED to make little Miss Nora a backpack; you just didn't know it at the time. Love the fabrics and the backpack. hugs Leaha
I just got the pirate one done, actually, I made 2 pirate ones. I just have to put the straps on one. They are made but I am quitting for the day. Been a long day.
Hope you made a pattern as I can see this being a real seller.
Looks terrific.
I did write down my measurements with this one. I finished this one this morning, while cooking lunch and now I have the pirate ones made, minus putting the straps on one. I'm stopping for today, think I've done enough.-lol
This is a great back pack. Love the colours. Hugs Shirley
What a brilliant job Toogie, it looks fabulous and I know it will be well used. Love Chris
That looks great, Toogie, you are very good with making bags and back-packs.
Hugs, Lidia
They say many of the worlds best ideas are the result of a mistake---I think you are on to something!! I'll bet this one won't stay in your sewing room long and you will probably be taking orders when Nora's little friends Moms see it! Really cute and love your fabric combinations.
Thanks, I'm on a run now, making these till I get tired ,so I hope someone does want them!-lol-
This is a great backpack for a little one, Toogie..nicely done!
Just right size for our nearly two year old. I didn't show the photo of what was in it...her Tag, doesn't get far without 'Tag'. I think she's holding it in some of the photos.
Great backpack for a girl, love the fabric. Miss seeing the cute little model. Hugs Lynn
She wasn't here today, but she'll be back next week.I'll let you know which one she keeps. (I did make one, no two, with the pirate fabric she liked)
Toogie your productivity never ceases to amaze me. as ever lovely work and great creativity from you. With the zip going down its going to be easier to add to the contents of the backpack when its being worn
I was kind of like the absent minded professor. Made it by accident. My SIL decided what it should be. (You have to read my post in Sewing, if you haven't already, to understand) Thank you but you must have me mixed up with Carolyn/noah-lol-I can't hold a candle to what she can do in a day..Have a good night or day, whatever the case is now for you-I'm going to bed!-Toogie
How cute this is Toogie :) and definitely girly for Nora!
I love the cheery fabrics you have used here :)
I dont have any like these in my fabric stash....
I edited to show you the pack of fat quarters I got this fabric from. I have had it quite a while. Remember when Walmart was closing or about to close their fabric departments? I got this and another pack at the same time, and they rang up $5.00 each! There are 8 pieces in each pack...Nora likes to open the fabric drawers and look at the fabrics. She is gonna be as bad as me about loving fabric! GOOD- anyway, she picked some pirate fabric for a backpack and I will make one out of it and see which one she picks then. She may have liked the turquoise colored background or the figures, sharks on it. We will see.
So colourful...looks really lovely. You are really an expert in making pouches, bags....etc. Any tutorial for this....? Hugs .... Shyam.
Thank you for your expert opinion!-lol-I just like making them and since I usually have the fabric, why not! Look in sewing.
Looking good and so cheerful. You amaze me with all the purses you do.
lol- My daughter says one thing we are not short of is bags! I have only made 3 for them, a crossbody (remember those?), a diaper bag, and a tote for Avery's hospital stay (remember the cheerleader design?) so I don't know where the rest of her bags came from!!!!!
Don't know what your oops was but it looks great!
I was making men Shaving bags and one came out too big, (miss cut my fabric) so it became a toddler backpack, thanks to my brilliant son-in-laws suggestion. Thanks and Welcome to Cute!-Toogie
