I have just received word that my cousin who is 27 years old, dove into his swimming pool last night and broke his neck. He had 3 broken vertebrae and has had surgery today. The surgeons put 2 rods and 5 screw in his neck. I am told that he is in extreme pain. I would ask that you specifically pray that he is not paralyzed and that he knows with certainty that it was God that healed him.

I am so sad at your news,but God is in control and I will be Praying for all of youns, and for healing in cousins life, as only God can do. Hugs, Judy...

UPDATE 06/02/2015
William's surgery was a success yesterday. 22 friends/family were in the waiting room to get the good news. We are SO APPRECIATIVE of the prayers & support from so many! He had his 1st PT today & it was from his classmate Lauren. We were thrilled! He has not had food since Sat. but has been cleared to start soft foods today/tomorrow. PT will be daily now & will determine where he goes next. Msgr. Thein from Sacred Heart brought anointing oil and blessings today. Fr. Lopez called and is coming tomorrow. We appreciate your continued prayers.

So glad to hear this Jerrilyn .Having the same problem in my brother's family. His oldest Grandson(Travis just turned 30) rolled his truck when he swerved to miss a deer. Didn't have his sealtbelt on rolled down in a gulley. They airlifted him to a hospital in Panama City, Fl. For immed. surgery . He now has 2 rods and 8 screws in his spine and just beginning P.T. This boy has really had it rough. His mom (my brothers daughter) died from a massive Heart Attack when Travis was only 18 ,leaving him and his 15 yr old twin brothers. A yr later his dad committed suicide leaving a note saying he could not live without his wife.. My brother and his wfe took the 3 boys and raised them. Travis has a sweet wife but no children . If it was not for God my brother and his precious wife would have lost their minds. They live in Tallahassee but have been staying at the Hosp day and night. They got on fb and asked for prayer. God is so good to us. I pray for your young man that both of these young men will get well and be whole again. My brother has told me how bad the pain is, so I ask God to help them to endure and tolerate if it must be

Thank you all. I say,"let it be done" your prayers and keep bringing his name before God. He's is highly sedated as he is in excruciating pain. There is already talk that he will be moved by the end of the week (hopefully) to a rehab facility where the work will begin to see what he can be helped to do. I'll update here when I have more or different news. I'm honored to be part of this group of prayer warriors.

I am so sorry and will add my prayers on his behalf.

He will be in my prayers.This happened to my son-in-law years ago in fact it was my daughters first date with him he dived into the lake but it was shallow water and broke his neck.He had surgery which sounded like your cousin and had to wear like a halo for quite a few months but he is fine.He is a police officer now That was about 30 years ago so prayers do help

Prayers go out to this young man.........when I was in high school my friends and I were at an unattended swimming hole and one of the guys did this very same thing.......he needed a cane for the first year and at graduation he walked across the stage......what a wonderful sight, so I pray this will be the outcome here!!
