Two-for-onesie: I think I will be making one of these (or should I say two of these) again. One thing to remember make sure you stitch the front bottoms to the front of the dress & not stitch it on backwards as I have done. I have spent the last hour ripping out ever so carefully all the stitches as I have stitched the back of the onesie to the front bib of the dress, Won't be doing that again! I did it right in the end..........

What a cute idea! I love these dresses that you've made. Our little miss Ella has grown taller and has onsies that still fit around, but not in the length. This is a good way to get a little more mileage from them. Thank you for sharing your work with us!

Oh how fun! I love these, I may cabbage onto the idea for the little one I'm making things for. I got quite a chuckle out of your story. I just finished unpicking a project I had started and didn't catch my mistake until almost done. I too will learn from my errors. Mine was on embroidery and this is the second one I was able to save. Thanks for sharing. Love this idea. hugs.

What a great idea and worth the time and effort to get it right. I think we all have spent many an hour in ripping out what we have done.

Thanks Karen, I thought this fabric was soooo cute & perfect for the red bottoms & I used all but tiny scraps for it so I figured it was worth ripping out. ~hugs~

this way I get the top for the one dress (already made & ready to add the bottom part) & then I get the bottom part so the other dress has a built in pair of panties. This way I get 2 dress's out of one onesie. Cute right?

pldc by pldc 01 Jun 2015

otherwise I would have a onesie & it's cute but these are cuter.....

that's how I learn I guess. The frustration of all that picking should help me to do it right the next time lol. Thanks
