Congratulations to you and Dillon for the great event of graduation. It is such a time of celebration and passage. I hope he will celebrate it in a special way.
How sad that you are not able to attend his graduation in person. But, you are attending it in your heart. I missed my son's fiance's graduation but was able to watch a live stream. Maybe that will be available to you. Most colleges and universities have live stream. You will cry in the comfort of your own home for the beautiful child that has succeeded beyond measure. I love your story about the skateboard! We must all look for different ways to encourage our kids. Your grandson is a miracle. I am sorry that you can not attend in person his graduation but please check out live stream. I did this for my son's fiance and was able to take a screen shot too! You really do see them better online. Blessings.
I was able to attend...you are the first I have told and I will post more later.
You have every right to be proud. Your grandson has been through so much. Many congratulations
This is wonderful. I do so wish you could be there to see him graduate..I'm sure if there is any way you will find it,but if not, surely there will be pictures or a video for you to see. I know the heart full of love you must have for this miracle child and I pray you will see him go far in this world today. God Bless you both/Lillian
Wonderful story, you have a right to be pleased and proud of this young man. Bless him on his great accomplishment and thanks for sharing.
What an awesome story wish there was some way you could go try hitch hiking lol
So happy for him hugs carolyn
There's always greyhound buses to get there. Congratulations, I know that you are proud beyond belief and rightly so! I'm gonna pray for your trip.
I thought of the bus but there are complications should I go alone. If I leave my dogs at home...my housemate doesn't take them out and even though with a doggie door they want someone to watch them. I was in the hospital for 5 days and only had one dog at the time...the day I got home I had to steam clean the carpet.
We figured things out and with a little help from my daughter things look promising. Not sure if this is one of the places where things go 'public' when posted but I hope not. I had new tires put on my car yesterday. Hopefully with the heat we are having now I can get the a/c serviced today. God willing. I can't go if not serviced as the heat gets to many of us as we get a wee bit older. I don't drive my car much and didn't realize just how bad the a/c needed freon. Only about 500 miles last year. lol. If I can get the lead out of my housemates fanny to secure the house today as we have been doing some work on it, then it should be all systems go after I contact the alarm company to just dispatch the Sheriff should the alarm go off.
I hope you can go, however if it does not go that way, I just know you will be involved and he knows how proud of him you are. God Bless and safe travels!
Thanks everyone...but all is not lost yet....going to have my car checked out...and then I will know for sure if I can't go...after leaving the message I started pushing to want to go...more then ever...maybe there will be a way...I just don't like sticking my neck out too far.
Sweet...you all must be very proud...make sure someone takes some video and lots of pictures!
Congrats to him and his miraculous survival. He truly is a miracle. You truly have a right to be proud of him and of yourself. What a tremendous gift you gave to him with that skateboard. I'm so sorry you aren't able to see him graduate in person.
Congratulations to him, what a wonder achievement. Hope he continues on with the same success if any future adventures. Thanks for sharing your beautiful story. Hugs Lynn
That is just a beautiful story of love. I hope he continues on with accomplishments.
He really is your special miracle child. I can imagine you bursting with love and pride for him. May he have a wonderful future in the years ahead.
