Lovely, not easy, so small
thank you very much, & your quite right making Barbie clothes is a challenge because they are so small. I like making them most of the time lol
Ava is going to have so much fun. Well done, they look great. Hugs Yvonne x
These look fantastic, and Ava will spend many happy hours dressing up her dolls. I don't think I would have the patience or dexterity to do this. Very cool grandma!!!
Yes , I have made many Barbie clothes and I did not like to sew for her. Now, most machines have the 1/4 inch quilting foot and it is a must have for Barbie clothes. I did sew some for the American Girl doll. She was easier as she is larger. You really did a wonderful job with a coordinated wardrobe. You would get high marks in fashion design!!! she will love them ane you for making them! Kay
ah thanks Kay, they are a bit challenging due to their size but jersey is forgiving & she will be 6 so not a diva lol she won't see my imperfections @ all ~hugs~
Lordie I'm thinking of all the Barbie's I have had to dress through the years.. With 4 girls I crocheted, knitted and sewed a lot of those clothes. Yours look fantastic. My mom was working for Mattel when they first came out with the Barbie so mom sent my 1st daughter so many and so much./Lillian
oh how wonderful for her to have all the beautiful clothes, what fun she must have had playing Barbie's !~hugs~
Oh, my she will be so thrilled - wonderful job!!! Hugs, Laura*
She will be so pleased with all these new outfits; You sure are a great grandma. Hugs Shirley
Shirley I think those of us who are grandmas all are. thank you very much, ~hugs~
You are really good to sew things that small. I love the tight denim dress. My mother-in-law made clothes for my daughter's dolls years ago. This takes some skill and patience. Great job.
thank you very much. There is not a lot I wouldn't do for my kids & grand kids lol ~hugs~
