Super! Love the butterflies. I agree with sjbrower another smaller on the bottom with the orange...and while you are at it why not just one on the back shoulder. Great work, now get some sleep!
Hugs, Nadyne
Perfect touch of color on your dress! I've always heard the rule of three as well. I think a smaller blue butterfly along with the orange at the bottom would be cute. Thanks for sharing this with us Loralye.
PS... while sewing is good fun... so is sleeping. Hope you sleep better tonight! Sharon
Sharon me too, I have come from the BIA & am told that the change in my sleeping is due to the barometric changes. I do hope that has passed so I can sleep in my reg routine lol thank you so very much, ~hugs~,
I love the look of B&W with just a touch of color strategically placed. This dress was already pretty, but looks terrific with the butterflies added. Nice job!
I would add an orange butterfly above the blue one, and a blue butterfly above the orange one at the bottom.
Hugs, Lidia
oh now that's a really good idea, I will give that a go once I get back from my cooking class @ the BIA.( Brain Injury Association) Thank you so very much Lidia, ~hugs~
What a great idea, your dress looks great with the added pop of colour!
Just lovely! Maybe add a butterfly to the back right shoulder area, parallel to the left front one? If you need a third one, that is. Lovely as is now!
If you like an even number....add a fourth to back left bottom to mimic the orange front???
lol I did think that was the way to go, will give it a bit more umpf. Thank you so very much, ~hugs~
I agree, if you can sleep......create!! Nice job on this dress!
it's the changes in the barometric system that are causes me these issues...cool hot humid & cool again thunder storm activity & all of this in one day! All week long........
Hi Loralye, I know the old saying is to group things in 3! It depends on if you do put another one on - where would you put it? Love Chris
The colour has certainly livened up the dress, good work!!
