Well Cuties a quick update....while my eyes have stopped leaking.

Our fur baby had an ultrasound and x-ray the other day. They found a large tumor on her spleen. Could remove the spleen (another $1000 ) but if the tumor is malignant (which the vet thinks it is) it would speed up her ultimate demise. :-( Soooo we have opted for some quality time with her. She is on prednisone...it will help her appetite as she has lost a great deal of weight. Also she is still a very happy dog with no pain. When we see that change...well.
At the same time we are finally getting our cement done on the driveway...more $$$ ! It just does not seem to end! At least it will be done though.
Hugs, Nadyne

Yes, when you have done it before it still doesn't get easier. I guess that is a good thing though.

I want to cry with you. I'm so sorry this has to happen at all. Our furbabies are a part of our families and their loss is devastating. I know getting the driveway finished does not ease the pain, but thank goodness the project of repairing and renovating will soon be done. Enjoy every minute, make wonderful memories. We are here when you need us.

Reading about your fur baby made me sad. They are part of the family and it is difficult to watch them being ill. I wish for you some tender moments with her.
How is your husband doing?

Thank you so much, and thank you for asking after my husband. At the moment his condition ( whatever it is ?? ) is stable. He is having regular blood tests and we see the specialist next week. We do not want any more "surprises" of the bad nature so please say a prayer.
Hugs, Nadyne

Thank you Lillian. We are trying our best....the prednisone seems to be taking effect as she is eating a bit better.
