Fabulous Sue, I'm looking forward to seeing in September, I promise not to look at the inside! (sorry but I'm known to tell the odd porky) Jo
Wow, you are very talented. Your points on the front lined up perfectly to make chevrons, not an easy task on a front opening. Beautiful jacket. If the inside will show you could put binding (French seam) on all the seams or just put in a lining. If the inside does not show, don't worry about it, wear it and be happy and pretty :)
One fabulous jacket! I am amazed @ the outcome. No one ever know the originals of these panels. You will get a wear out of this jacket . Thank you for sharing with us. .
Dear Sue, well, this has turned out beautifully even with having trouble with your overlocker. Going through jeans fabric is tough at the best of times. Love the way you have made it a chevron style pattern and the butterfly adds a great highlight. You are one very clever and "arty" lady. Love Chris
Stunning!!!!Love it....Great..Excellant work you have done Sue..Love this jacket
Very smart Sue. Love the way you have matched the fabric down the front and used dark and light buttons too. I doubt very much if the jeans owners would recognise their old jeans now. Frankly I am not surprised that your overlocker has had a hissy fit on you. Just wondering what you have ready for a next project. Love this creation
I love how you have done this! What a great jacket. I would never have thought to stitch the strips to sheeting before cutting out the pattern. I now have another project to add to my list!! :-)
Hugs, Nadyne
Looks fab. So nice the jeans had so many shades of blue, makes it much more interesting. Love the contrasting buttons and the lovely butterfly.
Looks great...too bad about your overlocker...perhaps a light lining might do (?)
Beautiful jean jacket! So clever to recycle those jeans! Great job, Suzanna
Love it Sue!!!!! made one for my brother years ago and he loves his to****
Oh my you are so very creative - this is beautiful. I would think it will go with so many things! Well done! Hugs, Laura*
