Toogie..this is too beautiful.....love to see your dresses...Thanks for all the links. You are indeed an expert....in stitching dresses and very creative too. Hugs...Shyam.
Thank you Toogie--I found the pattern and instructions in Community where you said to look. Got to make these for my great-granddaughter.
Let me see, I am glad you want to make some and found the pattern. You will want to make more!
Das ist superschön. Werde ich für meine Enkelin verwenden.
What an adorable outfit ! The little shoes are so cute. Your granddaughter will look very special in it. You make such amazing outfits. Very clever to make the flower on the sash removable.
Thank you for all your kind comments. I was hesitant to sew the sash in, because I was afraid if it was washed a lot the dots may come off the ribbon. They are not woven in. This way we can change it out if they get bad.
This is just beautiful! I love everything. I agree that it may be easier to keep up with the ribbon if it were stitched on. But, with it not then one could use different ribbon and it would be like a new dress! What superb sewing you did on the outfit, shoes and accessories. I hope that your daughter learns, or has learned, to sew as beautifully as you. I am so grateful that my mom taught me to sew and do handwork at a very early age. Toogie, you really dress your granddaughters nicely!
Thanks Nancy. My youngest wants to learn but doesn't have time with church activities/duties, work, the kids, etc. Maybe one day, then she can sew for her grands, when I am gone. I am glad your mom taught you. I just love to hear when people learn to sew. It has been so rewarding for me. Others say it makes them too nervous. It is my relax time, I guess, because I do enjoy it. My oldest daughter can sew a little, has time to learn more, but not too interested. There are things I don't like to make, like prom, ball or wedding dresses. I leave that to my very good friend-lol- She has made my daughters huge skirts, on Homecoming dresses, and I must say a perfect job, too.
Just love the whole thing--where is this shoe pattern??? My grand daughter buys these types and would love the pattern.
This is simply CUTE! You have a great eye to pull things together. Avery is a very well-dressed young lady! Thanks for sharing your work... you always inspire me.
Great job, Toogie. I'll bet Avery was smiling & glowing!
Cindy
Little Avery is going to look so beautiful in this outfit. Wonderful sewing Toogie
Toogie you are amazing and so is this beautiful dress.
Thank you very much, but we have a lot of other Cuties that sew just as well, I'll bet you can too. I do appreciate your looking. I put links to the pattern and pants I made off this pattern too. Take a look-see-Toogie
How beautiful! She's one lucky girl! Love the polka dot material & the shoes are just adorable.
Oh, Toogie, this is precious and a bit grown up. She will be so happy with all these flowers and dots!
It is a view off the pattern I used for her monogrammed ruffled pants. I guess because of the dark color, it does make it look more for an older girl. A classic look, maybe. Thanks for looking-Toogie
Adorable. If she was in it would even be more adorable, :)
She was in it, until she drooled all over, and I still couldn't get her to pick her head up! Oh well....
That's a lovely dress, Toogie. Avery will look great.
Hugs, Lidia
Oh I am a bigfan of navy blue with dots. It looks like dotted swiss Toogie. The entire outfit is darling as she will be with it on/Lillian
I wish it was dotted swiss but no, its just a cotton polka dot. I wanted to try the pattern, size, out with this 'free' fabric, to see how it fit. I know I made the whole outfit, for less than $3- So glad I got this fabric from the family and Bevintex told me where to get zippers! Thanks for looking,Toogie
its so beautiful Toogie . Avery will look gorgeous in it

What a lovely dress, shoes and hair bow accent.
Love the colours- love everything.
Such a darling dress and shoes. Avery will look terrific in this outfit.
The whole outfit is stunning Toogie. I love the little flower. I did that on a dress I just made for Ophelie and made it a pocket! I like how you've added it to the belt and as you say it can be taken off if needed. Love Chris
It is good to think we can use our designs for more than the intended purpose. I don't think the belt is going to work out. If you tie it snug, it fits right across her GI tube. If you leave it loose, it doesn't look right. May take it off, although I now have the belt loops at the sides. IDK-I started to put the ribbon up from the bottom skirt edge, because she will have a bib, at the top anyway. I made the waist a little loose, in case it did fall, where it does. It doesn't look bad, without the ribbon at the waist. It's just without a bib, it looked good. Of course and unfortunately, there is always the need for the bib. I'm rattling-sorry-Toogie
Avery will look so cute in this outfit. It is lovely.
This is so wonderful. Avery and her mom will be happy - what a lovely dress ! Hugs and have a Happy Independance day :-)
Thank you very much. I think mom likes the idea of shoes for her. It's sometimes hard to find shoes and then you have to buy 2 pair,as feet are not the same size, etc. I am just glad that I do know how and am still able to sew for her.
Oh, this is so cute!! I just know Avery will look so sweet in her red, white and blue outfit!! I hope we get a picture!! Hugs, Laura*
I did take some photos of her in it, however, she was not in a photogenic mood. Her head was just to heavy today for her to keep it up, poor baby. She did try, though.
She will look darling in this outfit. What a wonderful job.
Toogie you are one great grandmother in all the super sewing that you produce for your grandchildren. Great as in super and not that you are a great grandmother, that will happen in time.
Yes, lets don't rush the great-grandmother-lol- I can't slow down that much yet! Thank you for your comment and for looking.
If that isn't the cutest thing! What a lucky little girl - Becky
