My husband usually stops as he says he has to fight the steering wheel since lthe car automatically turns in toward a fabric store!!
Apparently, my husband has felt that pulling force too. We were looking for a place to pick up some supplies for the work he is doing and he pulled into a outdoor mall with a craft store in it. The store he wanted was further down the street. Lol
He had his nerve telling you that. If I were you I would tell him you saw they are opening a new hardware store, then forget where you saw the ad. HEHEHE!!!!
At least your are halfway there in "husband training 101" ... He is aware of your needs and pointed it out!
That is just cruel!. My husband points one out and then proceeds to point out so many wonderful fabrics (there is no way I can afford them all, so maybe that is a bit cruel too).
Perhaps your husband is going to present you with a gift card from the new fabric store and wanted to make sure that you knew where to spend it! One can always hope :)
Just remember where it was and start a few minutes from there telling him you HAVE to go to the restroom and point out, "There's a nice looking ladies room".
Oh! Oh! There are very few men who will go fabric shopping . I'm glad he at least pointed out the shop to youLillian
That's just MEAN!! :-)
Sure he will stop at some point - maybe he will encourage you to get out?
Enjoy it when you stop by.
Lotsa Love
Well I hope you get to go and look by yourself one day.
I lived in the USA for a few years (loved it ) and my husband knew never drive past a quilt shop ...especially if you are going to be in the car with this lady for the next 5/6 hours , he always asked sometimes I said no just drive on , but it was not very often . Sure do miss those wonderful days .
well look at the positive way: at least now you know where to go......
Not very kind. I am sure you will think of something to get back at him. LOL
Hm that was not nice.... I would say "revence time" ! you look for a nice picture of his favorite food and print it out. Put it on the dinner table and then say: this is was you could have gotten if you had stopped at the fabric store, now you get... ( and then give him something he doesn't like)
LOL
At least you know where it is and can go back at another time. Husbands are useless in a fabric store any way. I did perused my sweetie to stop at Mary Jo's in Gastonia , N.C. He took a long nap in the parking lot and I was in heaven!!! For those of you who don't know this store,it is huge!!!! Kay
That is not fair.
Spotlight (fabric ,craft etc) & Bunnings (hardware ) share the same car park & my husband often tries to get me to go to Spotlight so he can go to Bunnings. This doesn't always out when I have no need to buy anything & I have better things to spend 2hrs on ,than driving there & back & sitting in the car waiting for him
Wish some new fabric shops would open up near here, they seem to shut down ,never to re-open anywhere.
Not a new shop in my town, just one I didn't know was down that road. We really didn't have time to stop and shop.... but it was still torture. ;)
I work for a large linen company , who pair a premium rent to be right across the parking lot from a Bunnings (hardware) store , we have lots of ladies come in to fill in time , and spend lots , method in their madness .
Someone should open a fabric and hardware store. make everyone happy. lol
