A friend and I have just been to a quilt show in a village hall in the middle of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Although a small event, the quality was fabulous so I thought I'd share a few pictures.
Unfortunately, the venue was so small it was impossible to get far enough away from the big quilts for a good picture, plus I was taking them on my phone. The beach scene is only about 15cm square so was much easier to photograph.

145791What beautiful work. I'm especially fascinated by the Pink/Mauve quilt and the diversity of blocks chosen. I would never have thought of adding ducks and fish, but man does it ever work!
