It looks wonderful, your niece-in-law will love it. Love Chris
I was going to say , maybe a tote bag and next pic was a tote bag and there she was!
Heck with the grocery bag--I'd carry it as my regular purse--Very nice indeed!
Super! I love it! What stabilizer did you use on the burlap? I have some lovely coloured burlap in my stash and was thinking what to do with it... You had a great idea.

I backed it with some broadcloth (cause I was planning to make a pillow and wanted the back to not be scratchy on the pillow form), then used two layers of tear-away. I used Solvy washaway on the top to keep stitches from sinking into the open weave. I didn't have any cutaway to use for this project, so that's why I did multi layers of other stuff to get it stable enough to hold the stitches.
What a great looking bag. This makes me want to go back and pick up that design.
Very nice!!! I saw the design, I think I will go back and get it. Love the bag too!!!

I loved that design you used , so I purchased it and will use it on a beach towel.. great job on the bag.. looks so good on it..
Is that a cup of coffee I see this morning?/!!! Nothing better than the beach AND coffee!-lol- I don't blame you for falling in love with the design and it does make a nice tote.....sure you don't want to keep this one for yourself?-lol
Really nice grocery bag. She will get a lot of use out of this lovely mermaid bag.
What a fantastic looking bag! The striped fabric really helps the design stand out. I am sure many people seeing this bag at the grocery store will heartily agree that "Life is Better at the Beach". Thanks for sharing! Your bag is gorgeous!
