i had this in my garden, but it grew too large. The flowers are stunning but the foliage is very very spikey!! Got rid of it because it spread into a bothersome size. PS. It was comfortable here in the Southern part of South Australia and most definitely not tropical.
Beautiful Design. The plant is used for several things from robe to soap and will paralilze fish. I love its looks.
Beautiful embroidery work. They love the sandy soil and do well in dry climates. I need to get some of mine out of their pots and into the soil. We moved to a house with red clay everywhere so I have to mix up better soil for them to grow in the ground. Love their flowers but, you sure can get poked by those spiky leaves.
Love your design!! I've got a couple of yuccas in my garden as well, but they aren't in bloom yet, not even a bud, due to the weather I think. They are quite hardy but need sun to flower.
Love it Vicki what is the real name of this plant??I don't think i ever saw one???hugs
I have only known them as Yucca and they look tropical to me and they spread like crazy, I started out with just a couple across the back of the house and it is now loaded with them.....they don't bloom every year so am thrilled I have 3 that are......
