Thank you lovely people for all your help much appreciated, I will try washing it and let you all know how I get on. Yeah I did use normal bobbin thread in the bobbin I think, but I was told where I got my machine from that it was ok. Ill try loading a picture of my first disaster:| has anyone got the innov 750e?

Well, even if washing it doesn't work as well as you want, it is on the edge, so it shouldn't inhibit the original use of your cloth.

Hi amz, Welcome to Cute. You have come to the right place for help. The cuties here are experts and always give good advice. If you can post a picture of your project, the cuties can tell right away if your problem is caused by remaining wss or too much density in the design. Either way, repeated washings will help. Also what kind of bobbin thread did you use? A dense design is even more dense when regular thread is used in the bobbin. Bobbin thread is lighter weight and so is pre-wound,

hot water will get rid of the wss eventually, but the design will always get in the way of drying the baby!

As others have said, sounds like a WSS problem. Let it soak and keep changing the water.

Try a bit of liquid soap to help the WSS "slide" away. P.S. I rinsed mine down the sink for five years then had a big plumbing blockage. Better to do as others have suggested - rinse in a big bowl, sling water into the woods.

Hi and Welcome to Cute...I see you have some answers and I would say the same...either you did not rinse the WSS out thoroughly...or your design was very dense...if it is a dense design...there is probably not much you can do about it...but another couple of washings should help it a bit...

I wish I had a magic fix for you. Try the suggestion by hart. If that doesn't work you will soon learn what density to put on which garment. Unfortunately, most of us had to find this out the hard way.

You may not have rinsed out the stabilizer completely or it was a high density design. Sometimes I need to let it soak to completely get rid of stabilizer. Hope this helps.

Sometimes it depends on your design. If it is a very dense design with lots of stitches all that thread makes it a little stiff.
