Customer Service is dead & gone. I quit as a rep. with a company over 100 yrs old...cosmetics, you can guess which one...because I never could get anyone that 1-spoke English 2-knew more than I did. I sold it for over 25 yrs & if I needed help, I didn't need it from the script that person had in front of them! Now, I must admit, MY English is from the South, not "proper" English, so they may have had a hard time understanding ME too! But folks in Calif don't seem to have a problem understanding. OK, I'll get off my soap box. I think we all feel your pain! Oh, one more. Our power went out last night, reported it via all recording & pushing buttons...at the end they say "You can check on the progress via our web site..." Now just how do they think I can check the web site if my power is out!! No, I do not have a smart phone.
I agree it is not what it used to be... The customer now has to prove he is right. Sad....
Amen to you saga, been there; done that; have the t-shirt...try NOT to return there. Hope tomorrow is a better day.
Don't you mean Customer Service when we want to use it. Go the old fashion way. write a long letter & ask a few questions stating that they will have too write back to you & send it through the postal system too your home address. Keep a copy. When you post yours the normal way wait a week or two & if you haven't heard from them write again stating that you haven't heard & are enclosing a copy of letter sent previously & post paying the extra where they have to sign for receipt of the letter & you receive a copy of the signed receipt.
If you have a talk back radio station mention the C.S. that you received. I don't think you would be surprised at the amount of other disgruntled customers.
Arrgh! That kind of day just makes you want to give up and stay in bed.
You folks are saying what I have so often experienced. When I do find someone who is pleasant and knows what they are doing, I want to cheer. My heart goes out to that poor lady who felt chemo is better than work. So very sad.
Wow that says something when Chemo is better, than being at work.
Also most of the time while you are waiting to talk to someone, they keep on reminding you, how important your call is to them.
I know. I love that. "Your call is important to us (but not enough for us to answer the phone."
"Oh mygooness" as Shirley Temple use to say C.S. ,that is good C.S. is just about nonexistent these days! Some times I think it is deliberate, they think you'll give up and go away, some is so called technology gone astray and some just plainI don't care./Lillian
They want us to make our complaint online to save them the trouble.of conversation.
