Now how cool is that! Chalk fabric! Wish I had seen this before coming home from town. Always looking for a reason to stop at the fabric store! This project/gift really inspires me because I always leave notes and ask my family to do so as well when they leave. With a great project like this, no more paper! Sweet.

Aren't they just the cutest! My mom makes the dolls for charity (children's hospital). Unfortunately, I don't think many kids appreciate them because they are living in a much different world with different toys, etc. I think your towel is fantastic and it is obvious that your SS put a lot of work and thought into making something super special for you!

I know who my SS is but I don't know if I am allowed to say so I will just say Thank you to a Cutie in Texas who made me a cute little zipped denim bag and another tiny bag that has a pair of scissors inside. Then it was all wrapped in a piece of fabric that matches the tiny bag. The rose design is one that I recognize from Cute Embroidery as I have this design. This Cutie must have done some stalking because the extra fabric will go nicely with my black and white stash. In fact I have a project to use it already in mind.

I keep telling myself that I will make scissor holders! How sweet for your SS to make you one and the zippered pouch is really nice. Small enough to carry comfortably in ones bag and large enough for pocket money and coupons for the fabric store. Oh, and the fabric! How nice it was for your SS to add to your stash!

Isn't that the most adorable little owl you have ever seen! Such thoughtful gifts too. I like the notepads that can be easily removed and taken with you to the store. Towels are a necessity in the kitchen so it really helps having one so totally cute!

I received a lovely arm rest utility holder. It fits nicely over my arm chair and my sewing chair. It has 2 designs of sewing articles. A pocket opens on each side and a pin cushion is on the top - which is stuffed (paler blue part n the navy piece). It is just gorgeous. Beautifully sewn and bound right around the edge. Just perfect for my use.

It is very dainty and feminine! Would be hard to use this one. But, I don't like getting things that someone would have a problem if I used them. Using them shows how much we love them! At least that is how I feel. It is a beautiful towel whether you use it or museum it, lol!

As Sue said we could open as it was the 1 July somewhere I took that as the opportunity to open my gift. Right now I have to get back to what I was doing. I also hope my SS loves her birthday present (what ever it is) as much as I am loving her gift to me. How nice. A notebook to jot down all of the stuff you want to buy or projects you are going to make. And, a pencil case so that you have plenty of pencils to take notes with. Love the flowers and colors. Note taking was never this beautiful!
