My idea to make new Nuts and Bolts for my hoops worked.

I was lucky to find the right ones and then just wrapped Fimo (modeling clay) around the end, formed the shaped and baked them in my toaster oven at 275f for 30 mins.
I didn't find the thinner size for my other hoops, but I have spares for that one.

Sorry Dolly, it always seems to be the screws that go on me.

Wow! You are quite clever! This would also be a great way to make screw ends a little bit bigger to help with gripping. Thank you for sharing

Thank you. I am always game to try something new. A lot cheaper than buying them from the suppliers.

So glad that worked for you. I used to play with clay. Fun times.

I have never done anything with clay, but tried it on a little screw driver that came with one of my machines. I just made a block of clay, sunk the part of the screwdriver in it and baked it. Much easier to work with. It works just like the ones you can buy and pay big bucks for.

I like to roll out a thin layer of clay wrap it around a cheap ink pen with innards taken out ,bake it ,put it back together and have a fancy new pen. Swirl the colors ,you can get some pretty color combinations
Of course I mean oven bake clay fimo or sculpey

Wonderful idea and I am very glad it worked. I will store a note about this with my machines for when my screws give out. It was wonderful of you to try it and let us know it worked. Thanks and hugs.
