IT'S A GOOD TIME TO USE THE PATTERNS YOU HAVE, YOU MUST HAVE SOMETHING YOU HAVEN'T SEWN .
We love visiting Canada when your Loonie is low! We feel we get a great value on our lodging and meals. Sometimes even sneak an extra bottle of Jackson Triggs to enjoy at home.
I APOLOGIZE FOR MY IGNORANCE BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE LOONIE IS/Lillian
We have 2 - one is $1.00 and the other is $2.00
The $1.00 coin is called a Loonie and the $2.00 coin is called a Toonie...
Google Canadian Loonie and you will see what they look like. Sometimes they get fancy and make special ones with colours in them for example, at Christmas they may put a Santa design in the coin..Pretty neat actually.

Thanks guys, I had no idea. Been in Canada yrs ago, spent over a week ,went in at Sault St Marie and went across to Niagara Falls but never heard anything about Loonies
I was glad someone asked what a Lonnie was because I had no idea. I was going to ask until I read these post. Thank you!
