See below in Leaha comment what happened today. So I hope to get along with this little critter yet.
oh Mary he is so adorable & Canadian like me hint hint lol ~hugs~
He is about to be wood chucked lol. I will try once more on different set up.
Perfect little critter for camp! Sometimes you just can't know before hand what outlines are going to do...until it's too late. I just freehand stitch in the empty space with a straight stitch on my regular sewing machine.
Thank you.
When trying to do projects I want it to work and I try to trouble shoot till I get know what caused this or that. I have done the free hand or marker or hand stipple to fix somethings but this had to do with stability. I tried again as I mentioned to Leaha below here and same way. Except 2nd time had to add to my trouble shooting I added more trouble.Going to try again.
He is very cute. Is the underlying stitches the cause of outline issues. I've had some on towels and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I've tried floating stabilizer but haven't had a success yet.
Thanks. I did another today same towel thickness and all went great around the foot area that messed up on this one. I had shredding thread today there is always something to watch for. :) :) and it kept doing that so I thought I just gave this thing new needle maybe the eye of needle rough. Nah...... so I checked the lint collecting spots was thinking I just cleaned this...... Ahh there was some fuzz I remembered using some thread more likely to fuzz. So hit button and off it flew the sign area done. Then as I went to do outllne and new word in sign. outline rips away and wording not in right area. I knew what happened the stabilizer was weak after all the pulling hoop in out about 10 times checking on my shredding problem and it tore and I could see it was weak not drum no more around the outside of design hence outline and wording was not happy with loose wiggle and I wasn't either. I did float stabilizer and I had in drum tight but I didn't hoop towel I put it on sprayed tacky spray. So I will try him again on some reg fabric and see how goes.
Love him he is very cute. How big is he???hugs as always
Thanks he is a pint sized 4.67 w x 4.05 H and on my bad list. Maybe tomorrow I can hug him. lol.
Perfect design for camping. Enjoy your very own creation. You deserve it.
Cute design and just perfect for the camp items you are making a friend. Sometimes it is rather nice to have a design not turn out quite exactly like one wants, as it gives us reason to keep one of our very own! Too cute!
It still looks great. Love the expression on his face. Love Chris
