I love all the work you display. I have so many of Sue Box's designs and didn't know how to use them...you certainly challenge me. What font do you use? Do you use the same fabric on all your projects? Do you use a batting? I use Madeira thread a lot, too, and I like working with silk dupioni or linens. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Be blessed!!
The font is called Nimbus and comes from my 4DEmbroidery Extra software. For this wall-hanging, I have used felt at the front with soft cut-away underneath. I have used cotton in the past but now I prefer felt. For table mats either cotton or felt. For doilies, I have tried different types of fabrics now I use 100% cotton. I don't use batting. I have been using rayon thread from Robison-Anton for a number of years but now I'm using Madeira more and more. Thank you for your comment.
Hugs, Lidia
Thanks for answering all my questions. Since I have the 5D Suite for Pfaff I discovered that I have the Nimbus font there! It's one I haven't used yet but I will now that I've seen how pretty it is. Guess I should stitch out some samples of the various fonts to see what a resource I already have. My mind is churning with ideas already!
This is dazzling. Being a wall hanging it makes the mind think of a serene garden. I love it.
This is very beautiful as usual, Lidia. I dont see any colour shifting...looks perfect to me. Actually , Lidia ....this design was in my mind for a long time....had no idea where it would be suitable Hugs...Shyam.
I'm happy to have given you the idea, Shyam, and thank you for your comment.

Oh this is so lovely, these designs are temping me. Didn't see any color shifting so you file that idea under 'stuff happens' and never tell a sole. I'm learning to adapt and not be so critical of my own work. It's only taken me FOREVER to reach this point. Goodness that makes me old! hugs Leaha
I like your suggestion to file that idea under 'stuff happens'... lol... I've never heard that before :)
Thank you for your great comment, Leaha!

So lovely as usual and so are your frames!!! I'd love to see your walls--you have so many exquisite items.
This time I have used a doily from Sue Box as a frame, as it was the shape I liked best for this wall hanging, I don't append all the wall-hangings I make to my walls, and I don't keep all of them either, I keep a few and a gift a few.
Thank you for your comment.
Hugs, Lidia
Wow , I just saw these yesterday and you have already stitched them out. Your a busy beaver! Kay
I presume that you have seen this picture in Sue Box's Newsletter, Kay. It's the same picture that I have uploaded here in Cute. Thanks for your comment.

Lidia, love your new stunning wall-hanging.
Have a great day,
hugs, Céline
Beautiful, as usual. Are you stitching onto felt, or what is the fabric you use? It is stunning, whatever it is.
It's felt at the front and soft cutaway underneath it, for support. Thanks for your comment, Jerrilyn.

The garden bench looks very inviting, and does make a serene setting. Your walls must be a beautiful sight with all your hangings displayed. Gorgeous!
What type and color of thread do you use for the frame/border? It seems you use this one often, and it is so elegant.
For the frame/border I have used Col. 1055, Cream, from Madeira Thank you for your comment!
Hugs, Lidia
P.S.: I forgot to mention that the thread is rayon.
Thanks for the thread info. BTW - I have corrected my typos. Wish I could figure out how to turn off that auto-complete feature. It only makes things worse!
Your work is always stunning Lidia, thanks for showing us. Love Chris
thnk you for sharing, I didn't notice the moved colours. It's lovely !
Beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing your work - always inspiring
This is beautiful, as usual really!
