This knitted garden was a collaborative project by my "knit and natter" group. It is on display in a shop window so not very easy to photograph!

Marvellous.Knitting the pieces was the easy part ,sewing them altogether & in some cases stuffing them as well ,is really the time consuming part.
How long did it take to complete?

That was a lot of work and at times very small needles. Love the people. The whole thing is amazing

Lovely work! The group must have had some very creative planners and knitting all those different elements must have been great fun.

Very nice. A friend of mine has done 3 of these over the years. She took them to the local Day Care Centre to show the elderly people. They were just so amazed at all the work she had put into them. She even had a clothes line with washing on it.

All the knitters are around 80 years old, how old do you have to be?!

shirley124 by shirley124 22 Jul 2015

Any age I guess lol. I have a upside down doll knitted by a lady well into her 80's. Some of them never give up. Just go into a old folks home and you will see them sitting in corners together knitting away. Hugs
