I know you will be the very best help possible with the grandkids and their mom, Jan! Hope all goes well and you really enjoy the visit, as well as helping out!! Here in Georgia, we have been having 100 degree temps, and very little rain. So, perhaps more rain in Florida (as someone stated) will make this summer visit more pleasant for you!! Have fun!
Hugs, Angel
Yea! You and those Grans will have a grand old time. Just don't overdo and come back home "worn to a frazzle"/Lillian
It's good that you can go down and help out I suppose the only down side is_Having to enjoy yourself with the adorable grandkids.. Have fun
Lucky you Jan, I hope you have an amazing time with the family. May you be a real help to them all. Love Chris
Glad you are going. I do not know about panic attacks. Hope all goes well. Maybe she can enlighten you. Be there for her! Kay
Woo Hoo, Jan.........this is awesome.......you get to spend time with your Grands and have fun in the sun!!
How wonderful for you! The kids will be over the moon to spend this time with grandmother. Have an absolutely great time!
Hope you enjoy your visit. I live in FL We are getting a lot of rain right now
I live in central FL & we have recently had daily rain. The nice thing is, it usually rains fast & then the sun comes out! Hope you enjoy your time with the "grands". Spoil, Spoil, Spoil!
I too do not like flying but a pilot I know told me you have to remember the pilots want to go home to their families too. My give you some peace! Safe flight! Suzanne
You have been sent for. Aren't you glad it's not winter in Minnesota babysitting? Have a great time with the kids and spoil them the best you can with mom watching.
What fun you will have with your grandchildren!
Regarding panic attacks, I have someone close to me that had them in the past. You should remember to stay calm and speak softly to her. Remember she's not dying, although she may feel like it at the time. After a little time it will subside. You may have already had experience with them, but they are quite unsettling the first one you see, so I wanted to share that.
Tip to help with an anxiety attack:
-Look around you.
-Find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you
can smell and 1 thing you can taste.
This is called grounding. It can help when you feel like you have lost all control of your
surroundings.
How sweet to help out and get to spend some quality time with the Grands!! Enjoy the Florida sunshine! Hugs, Laura*
