God bless you Lillian! You are an angel! What a wonderful, caring thing to do.
What a loving and giving person you are. These dresses are so cute and I know the little girls that get them will be so blessed to receive them.
Blessings to you.
Thank you so much and a warm welcome to Cute. We are proud to have you with us/Lillian
These girls are so blessed to have such beautiful garments made by you. I am sure they will be so glad for something so wonderful. Bless you and flowers for all who are so thoughtful. Sandra.
Wonderful! Am sure they will be greatly appreciated! You did a great job on these.
What a selfless project...these are beautiful, Lillian.....Bless You!
First of all, you are one terrific woman to make all of these lovely pillow case dresses. I love how you made them "fancy" so they don't look like a sack with tie straps. You coordinated the fabrics and colors and made them so special with embellishments. The girls receiving these beautiful dresses will be so thankful for your kindness and love. We have friends that just returned from their church sponsored trip to Africa where they dug wells. They go each year to different places and come back with the most remarkable stories. In so many of the small villages the family must pay each year for their child to attend school. Cheerful givers like you, Lillian, is what the world needs more of. Bless you!
Well done a lot of little girls will be smilling beautifull with love and effort a lot can be done
I just finished a little pillowcase dress for our community baby shower. Yours are lovely and when I see a child on t.v. I will always be wondering it she is wearing one of your creations. Hard to dress thousands but starts one at a time--God Bless You.
I don't want to steal Lillian's post, but I saw some of you showed an interest and here is the link if you want to find a place to donate.
We are not affiliated with Samaritans Purse but it is the same thing we do. Samaritan is a much much larger organization and does a wonderful work every where and need all the help they can get. You cannot go wrong to help them.
How precious you are! I looked and looked and tried to pick my favorite, but they are all so cute. There are some lucky little girls who are about to get a blessing.
God bless you all and the children to receive these gifts.

Lillian, you are precious! All the dresses are so pretty! Hugs, Joyce
Lillian , you are busy girl. These all look so good. I know you worked hard. I had a children's shop owner ask me once if I made them and I said no. I knew she would have bought them from me, but I just did not want to buy all the fabric when I had so many other things going well. How much time does it take to make one? Kay
Actually Kay I have never made one that I didn't have to stop and do something else several times but once you get your fabric ready, cut and pressed, everything together and sit down to sew,you could probably get one done inside of an hour.I do French seams for each side,or I try not to have raw edges anywhere. Have to make sure ties are sewn on real good. A lot of these are washed in creeks by slapping on rocks, the only place they have running water is at the school so I make sure nothing will fall apart on them.
Lillian, love all them. Fortunately, there are people like you that are full of generosity. Hugs 4U
Céline
love those c/mas boxes thanks or giving unto others hugs
Lillian, the fabric may have been donated but your time is so valuable I know you feel a blessing for making these.Cuties, I think I see one with an applique,do you see more?
Oh, Lillian...you are indeed an angel...let me give you some extra sparkle dust for your wings...
What a loving thing to do. God will bless you for your heart warming gesture.
I'm sure these darling dresses will be well received!
They look so pretty and such bright colors. I'm sure they will be loved and worn. That is very generous of you to make and ship these.
Thank you I just make them,my church pays for everything else we put in the boxes except for what is donated, like one family buys 100 toothbrushes(nice ones) so goes to ea child,it's amazing what all you can get in 1 of those shoebox sized plastic boxes Of course ea box is wrapped with duck tape to keep the lids on. Church also pays for shipping which costs $7.00 a box. No liquid can go in them but a lot of things go/Lillian
that is wonderful Lillian. I am going to have to check & see if our church does anything like this too
You are such a sweetheart for making these for the girls. I know they appreciate them, who wouldn't. Lovely fabrics and styles. Thanks for sharing, God bless you for your generosity.
