Hmm, hand embroidery friend of mine thought her dog had a bone stuck in its mouth, but it was a seizure. Finger almost bitten off. Dog died, finger sewn back on and a bit stiff for ages.
Everything is fine now.
So tell your sister it will get better. Hugs to you both.
Thanks!! Wow some story she can tell. My sister will have a story to tell too. Glad everything went well with your friend. Suzanne
Hi everyone Update 8/6 My sister came home from the hospital on Tuesday. She is still on pain meds and antibiotics. I am taking her to the surgeons tomorrow.... I have been doing her chores and feeding her.
We have now adopted out all 20 kittens and 4 adults. Now I have to wait a few weeks to fix the rest of them get their shots and then they can all go to their forever homes. I will be left with 6 adults. Until the next rescue comes through the door that is.... ... I will be able to get some time to get back to my embroidery.
YEAH!! Thank you all for the prayers, good wishes and thoughts They really help.... You are all wonderful!!
Suzanne
thank you for the update. prayers for her recovery. and hugs for you !!
Suzanne I pray that your sister will soon be fully recovered and am so sorry about Kia, loosing a pet is a sad thing but you did all that you could. ~hugs~
Oh dear, I had hoped she would be out of the woods by now. My sister is a Veterinarian and was bitten by a husky coming out of anesthesia, which became septic and she had to have surgery to drain the infection. I am sending positive thoughts your way! Your work is important!
I'm so proud of you! I'm proud of the work you do to rescue these cats, the efforts you make to save those that are sick and injured. And I'm proud of you because you take such good care of Annette.
Suzanne I'm still praying for the both of you Know it was hard to lose Kia after you had fought so hard for her. Also know it's hard to deal with what has happened to your sis who was trying to help. I hope you are not blaming yourself. It was just one of those things that you had no control over. Hoping your sis will soon be better and home/Lillian
I did blame myself for it all but now I see it is just an accident. We tried so hard to save little Kia. But you have to look at the whole picture as to how many cats we have saved, healed and placed into wonderful homes... I don't lose many but the ones I do lose e special in my heart. Thanks for the prayers! Suzanne
Oh, Suzanne...praying for a full and speedy recovery...stay strong!
