Have yet to make a rag quilt - I'm sure it will be cherished always.
Very pretty, you have done a lovely job with this. Sandra.
Very cheerful! I can imagine how sore your hands were but think of the joy it will bring.
Well glad you don't always, "rip what you sew". The quilt is wonderful!
Oh! well done Loralye, this looks absolutely gorgeous. I would have unpicked it too, if it's not right in the first place, then use that damn unpicker! I've used mine many a time! Well done, it's a great little quilt. Love Chris
So sorry that you had a little problem with this project. But, you weren't alone in the ripping out stitches party! I too had to rip out stitches. Too bad that we aren't closer together to make a real laughing party out of it! I love the little squares. I need to organize my remnants!
if we sew we inevitably rip lol............. Thanks Nancy I hope that you didn't have as much to rip ~hugs~
Nice job, It is a lot of work but I am sure Miss Ava will love it for years to come. You can always add onto it as she grows. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching
Nice job, Lor...and what a trooper you are to take it all apart and start again...I am sure Miss Ava will love it!
thanks Kim & she did she told me so lol so cute to hear a 6 year old oh Nana I love it I really do. lol
An excellent job you have done and delighted Miss Ava with it/Lillian
OMG, Loralye, what a labor of love!! It is a beauty!
Gosh, I don't think I'd even attempt to undo 80 squares. You must be a very patient gal! The look of this quilt is quite fun. Love it!
well really there are 240 since the flannel is both front & back & in the middle lol. It made her very happy.....~hugs~
She'll love it. You are a great fixer and a darling grandma to undo it all and start again. I would have left it as it was.
lol somehow I don't think that you would have done it wrong in the first place, thanks so much, ~hugs~
I have an Accu-quilt Go and bought the rage quilt die. It cuts the slits and block at the same time. Makes it easy. This is a beautiful quilt. Great job.

I love rag quilts made with flannel but hate cutting all the blocks. I didn't even know there was such a thing as you are describing here.
oh wow I had no idea there was a die cutter for this!!!!! I will have to look into this thanks for the information Kathy!
Wow... so you made this one twice! These rag quilts are cute as can be, but I'm with you.... don't think that I could do a full sized one.
Sharon maybe now that I know there is a die cutter for this I might have to reconsider this lol. Thanks so much, ~hugs~
