Have you seen these? They are supposed to be great stress busters. I got mine on Amazon.com and they have all kinds of designs and styles, Cats.mandalas, stained glass etc. I just need a new box of colored pencils. It looked like fun.

My daughter, the Librarian, does this to relax and says it helps after a day of dealing with several hundred teenagers. Takes her mind off all their problems they talk to her about every day all day long/Lillian

Every bookshop that respects Itself seems to have a corner with these adult colouring books nowadays, and boxes of pencils and markers to go with it. I like to colour my own doodles but I am quite sure it would frustrate instead of relax me to colour whole pages drawn by someone else. But I love to use my hand and feel the materials rather than using a mouse or tablet to draw or colour on my computer.

Heard about them some time ago.
Last week I gave some colouring in tips to the receptionist upstairs. I was a mad colouring in person as a child over 50 years ago - am not taking it up again. :-)
Will stick to colouring in with thread now that I have an embroidery machine. Never mind the hundreds of hand embroidery threads I have too.

I have done about 4 of them with colored pencils. It's something I will keep around for a rainy day. I like to try a variety of crafts.

Something new to me. Looks fun and challenging. I too thought of fabric designs.

Oh, Bev, I am distraught. I have been watching these ads on tv and thinking, oh, these ladies just need embroidery machines and digitizing software. Now, to realize that that may not be enough...

Oh, looks like fun! I can't help but think what fun these would be in designs. I guess I'm hopeless and too addicted to embroidery.

I saw them on a news show and apparently they are very popular.

I love them and have been coloring for years. I can't sit through a meeting at work without my colored pencils and pages.

My sister just showed me some pages her daughter copied for her and a book she got. She's got a ton of color pens and the ones she's done so far are beautiful! First time I've heard about them. Thanks for posting this!!

It does look like fun, however I'm finishing up Sofia the First, Minnie Mouse and Captain American at the time. ( I used to give crayons and coloring books to expectant fathers with a note that they had to lay on the floor to use them when stressed out.)

It's a good time to stock up on crayons at the back to school sales
