OOPs, I have just gained a couple of cyber-pounds from your beautiful baking! They look irresistible. Hope you can find a way to relieve any future head-aches fairly quickly. I find pre-thunderstorm headaches are not much fun, too.
I have been told that in my situation this will not change sigh... But I am here so all is good. I hope that you can find a way around or avoid all together yours
Oh your bread makes me envious. I had wanted to plant some zukes this year but the time just came and went. I need to see what kind can be planted for a winter crop. I get severe headaches like you do ..use to be I could always tell when it is going to rain before the weatherperson would tell us. .
seems there are quite a few of us..........maybe we should work for the weather channel lol
I too love zucchini-- they will freeze --great way to enjo in the winter months !!! Muuuum
Oh i love this kind of bread ,with thick***butter lol hugs
Look yummy, sorry about your discomfort but glad you are feeling better. Juanita
Ummmm sorry about the headaches, bummer, Don't laugh but I can predict the weather better than the weatherman because of my suceptability to the barometric pressure
Also wanted to say zucchini bread looked wonderful. Kudos for you for keeping on, keeping on/Lillian
Thank you Lillian & it is sad that we can predict the weather through our pain..........the advantage is we can prepare for it some lol ~hugs ~
I am sorry about your pain , it is hard for you to cope some times and you are an inspiration to us all.
These look fab . enjoy.
Hugs Pam
Sorry to hear about your headaches...but these look really Yummy...and as others have already said...they will freeze beautifully!
my goodness these loafs look good, glad you are having a good day
Yummy looking loaves. Love zucchini bread. Hope you are feeling better. Have a great weekend. Hugs Lynn
They will freeze perfectly. I wish my zucchini plant was doing better. It seems I over water and it was planted late in the season. 4 loaves is impressive. Hope you feel better I can empathize with the aches and pains.
It's an strange thing I have been planting them for about 3 years or so & this is the first year that they grow & so nicely too, maybe they have to get a good start before they can grow I don't really know? They do have a fall variety so maybe that's what yours are?
They freeze great! This must be the year for zucchini! Try a loaf with fresh blueberries...yummy! These look great! Enjoy!
Delish! Hope you sampled to make sure it was alright to keep. these look lovely and sound so yummy. Sorry you've been under the weather. Hope you are still doing better. hugs
I take it one day @ a time Leaha, thank you. I froze three of them & kept one for us. I hope to make more they are really yummy & I can see warming them up on a cold fall day & enjoying with a hot steaming cuppa....................come on over
I cut my loaf shaped cakes into eating slices, then wrap in cling film and freeze in the pan they were cooked in so that they keep their shape. Of course all the slices do not fit in because of the folds of cling wrap, so you get to sample your cooking. YUM!
Zucchini is used a lot in chocolate cakes.
thanks Patricia, my daughter makes them with chocolate too they are very moist & delicious too
These look so good, I would love to bake something but it's too hot to turn on the oven.
I'm not using mine either, Bev. I've been baking my meals including desserts in my crock pot... not all at the same time. :P
That's the only way I can cook meals is with the crock pot & ribs are amazing in it as well as a turkey! YUM
Hello Loralye,
I also suffer from these terrible headaches; when the temperature is either for rain or to snow, I get bad shape. I understand you; after a period of crisis, we want to finally do something . Good luck for future
Now, about your loaves, they look delicious.
hugs,Céline

Thank you for the links. About "migraine", when I have one ( usually very painful and debilitating) , I have a good pill and I lie down until it passes, about 4 to 6 hours
hugs/Céline
So sorry to read that you are experiencing some pain with the changes in the weather. On the other hand these look super. I love Zucchini and have never thought of having it in a cake. Cranberries and walnuts will make a wonderful flavour as well. I'd do the same as others have suggested, wrap in cling wrap and then foil. They will keep for months. I've still got Christmas cake in the fridge from last year wrapped in a muslin cloth and foil and it's still yummy! Love Chris
oh good idea Chris & we love Christmas cake around here but we prefer the dark one & it is difficult to find. Thanks ~hugs~
Yummy is so right and with fresh zucchini too. Now I want to bake pumpkin bread and cookies. I'm so sorry about your head hurting with barometric pressure changes. I suffer from that too, but it is my spine and ears that hurt.
Headache Relief at Your Fingertips, author Bob Phillips, publisher www.siloam.com, copyright 2005. this may help you too Karen a cutie recommendation. If it can help it is worth the look! ~hugs~
Yummy. I have lots of room in my freezer. ;-)
Looks wonderful!! YUM!! They do freeze well... Wrap them well and they keep a good 6 months. Sorry to hear you head is hurting hope you feel better soon!. Suzanne
Suzanne I have wrapped them with press & seal should I wrap them in foil too or will this be good enough & thanks for letting me know 6 months that was my next question ~hugs~
Yes, wrap them in foil, too. If not you will have icing (not the good kind). I do meals for our church and wrap cakes in film and then foil and they keep really well until ready to be used.
Yum is right! Looks so good. I make cranberry loaves quite often, but never used zucchini--will have to try that. Oh my yes, mine freeze just fine. If you are in doubt tho, I'd be happy to stop by and take it off your hands. Hug ya!
lol thanks I did not know for sure if they would freeze well or not? A cranberry loaf sounds so yummy too......want to trade lol
