I love heat away for towels. Sometimes you need to use the tip of the iron to get it off. The iron does not have to be very hot, just medium warm. Hugs. Nan W
I was told it must be a stainless sole (not a teflon, etc.) or it won't melt (I bought some on super clearance but have not had a project to try it yet).
I tried the little iron and it worked. I am a little worried about doing it on a fleece baby blanket. Next project.
Try it on a scrap of fleece first. You should not need the iron to be very hot to remove the topping and of course you can't use a hot iron on fleece. Hugs. Nan W
I just had the same problem and asked at my dealer. Use one of the very very small triangle irons to get into the small areas. it is a very hot iron. I didn't use any paper and it disintegrated perfectly.
Did you use just an iron over the paper as directed? The directions say not to use steam so perhaps by wetting it you created a problem.
Is your iron hot enough? Sew some on an old towel and experiment. I have only had it removed by direct iron and it's always scarey but has not stuck to the iron. This is for Floriani's brand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g...
Thanks for the video. I have it and have been reluctant to try it. Now I will. Thanks for the question and the answers.
