This is gorgeous Noah!!! Can't wait to see the finished results and what fabric you will stitch this to. Am loving it!!!
Carolyn: These are so lovely!! I noticed the WSS you used, do you like it better than the other style of WSS (the fabric type)? I have never used this type, do you think it works better, is it what you usually use? You do a lot of FSL, & all of your work is so beautiful & perfect. Thank you so much for sharing with us!! Hugs & flowers, Tammy
yes it is two times as thick and i use one layer and put scrapes under the design to use it up
Beautiful.I would stitch it on the background fabric before soaking the wss out of it - much easier.
Please post the finished product - in THIS post, just edit it and add a picture.
How many way and times can you say beautiful and gorgeous???
Way to go.. I will be looking forward to the next post when you have it finished and the next when you do pictures as you stitch.. Congratulations on such a fine job..
thanks ***i am at camp for a few days So it will be Sat. night late or Sunday now ok
This is beautiful! I don't think I would sew it to fabric. I think I would use it as a mat in a frame with a wedding photo....maybe one of you and John, so you could keep it for yourself. Gorgeous!
YOU ARE RIGHT!!! could be a beautiful frame for a wedding picture, just the picture of the bride!!!
Very pretty would love to see it when it is finished.
Thank you for sharing Happy Stitching :~)
Oh my Carolyn, this is a work of art!! Very, Very lovely!!
Hugs, Nadyne
So Gorgeous!!!Great work done..Stunning Design
Fabulous! My machine would die before I'd get something that intricate stitched out. I'm looking forward to seeing it stitched on fabric. It has that nice inner edge so it should not be a hassle to apply it.
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!! Not enough words to say how beautiful it is.
This is sensational. I love all these things FSL, and this one is magnificent. I know that many sites give tips, but it would be nice to know how tio proceed embroiderers, here. For example, what type of stabilizer did you use? What needle? And which thread? You speak from 3 to 4 bobbins per piece, but how many rolls? My bobbins have 6,000 yards ... Nothing better than the expertise to tell us..
Thank you for sharing, have a nice day
Hugs,Céline
I am doing another one for C/mas and i will take pictures as i go and explain that one ok??
This one is nearly done so i will tell you how to on c/mas one deal??I am sewing it right now but they take a week lol hugs
Gorgeous....please come back and update this post with the finished doily...it is stunning! Do your instructions indicate you rinse the WSS out before you stitch it to the fabric?
Thanks, Carolyn...I also sew to fabric first then rinse...I was a bit confused as you said up in your post, all you had to do was bath it and then sew it onto fabric.
Wow!!! This is gorgeous. How are you making out with your arm? Hope you and John are okay. Hugs Lynn
Hallo Carolyn,
das ist einfach wunderschön geworden. Mir fehlen die Worte - ich bin sprachlos. Es ist perfekt:-)
Viele Grüße
Angelika
Lovely, I like this kind of work, did you use embroidery thread or normal sewing thread? Hugs Maureen
Beautiful designs, Carolyn! Your doily will be sensational.
Do the instructions state that you have to rinse the designs first before sewing them onto fabric?. What kind of thread have you used (polyester, cotton, rayon...
Hugs, Lidia
No clue ***i have just always sewed it first then rinsed ,Sonja explained to me 5 years ago maybe 4 years ,how she does it and i just always did it her way ****hugs
Carolyn, this is just stunning. Is there no end to your expertise, Talent plus! plus! What can i say i am amazed at what you can do. I should think every one of us would like to be half as good as you, we could all take a lesson from you. You are one very clever lady. Thank you for sharing all your projects with us. Sandra.
Oh Sandra thanks for your words of encouragement i get bored easy(like the kids)and half to try new things .I once worked making car radios and most stayed in one place doing same thing every day .That near killed me*** till i asked to keep me moving lol
