Has anyone a suggestion on, how to hide the blue arrow mark on the bottom of this FSL Angel. The blue felt pen mark was on the water soluble vylene stabilizer .I didn't realize that the embroidery was going to cover it until it was too late & then I thought it would come out when washed. It didn't ,must be a pen that doesn't wash out.

Hopefully I will get some great ideas from you,all help is greatly appreciated.

I've found that Resolve carpet stain remover is amazing for stains. I buy it to get stains out of clothes. Here is a link to Resolve's site to remove ink.

I have used hair spray to get ink out of a very stained cup that I used to hold pens & it worked very well

This fsl angel looks lovely &I'd suggest you might try a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol as it works for getting out ink stains from regular writing pens. Typically ,a blotter is good to use underneath it too. Hope that helps you& God's blessings. :~D

Dear Killie, Have you tried wash it with acetone (nail polish remover)?
I just read a bad comment about the digitizing from Dragonflier and I assure you that there is no problem with it. Please see the angel I tested. Hugs, Yoriko

Oh, Yoriko...not a bad comment at all...just a question as to whether it was a problem with slipping in the hoop or perhaps digitizing...it could have been either of these or perhaps something else...I had no idea who digitized the design as killiecrankie did not mention it...

Thank you dragonflyer, for your understanding. Hugs, Yoriko

Yoriko ,I am only asking for help about the blue mark ,there were problems with the needle & thread , my fault not yours,

Small amount of warm water mixed with some bleach. Use a cotton wool bud and dab on until mark goes. Rinse well.

add some bling ( stones) around the bottom

What about the bleach pens.... Do they even still make them. You might be able to use that... or even use a cotton ball dabbed with bleach and see if it will come out and hopefully not make it bleed. Good luck. Let us know what you end up doing. Good luck.

I don't have any new ideas for you.... my first thought was OxyClean and second thought was to sew some lace on the bottom of her dress to cover the inkspot. She is a cutie! Good luck

Perhaps it just needs more soaking time - like DAYS. I've been able to remove extremely bad ball-point pen ink from shirts by spot spraying with SHOUT and soaking in detergent (like Oxy-clean) all day, changing the water and repeating the process until the stain dissolved.
Another natural bleach is to wet the article and sprinkle generously with salt, pour lemon juice over it to make a "paste", let it sit for awhile, then pour as hot a water as the article can stand over it.
Good luck. The angel is really cute.

add a lace border along the bottom or a small embellishment. fsl mini lace heart, ribbon rose etc, look through your button box for ideas

No ideas, other than to maybe outline the whole border on the bottom with glitter glue, it would cover the ink and add some bling? It is a beautiful angel regardless.......

Beautiful angel...like others, try OxyClean...spray works really well....and just a questions...looks like the registration was a bit off on the left hand side in the slit...you might want to check you design before you stitch again to see if it is the digitizing or did the WSS slip in your hoop...If it is the digitizing...I would go back to whomever designed it and ask them to fix it!

It's not the digitizing. This is the link for the angel I have digitized. http://www.mygardened.com/index.p...;path=180&product_id=3463

dragonflyer by dragonflyer edited 19 Aug 2015

Oh, good to know...I did not know who had digitized the design...Killiekrankie did not say...just thought it was worth a comment before she stitched it again to determine where the problem occurred..clearly something was not quite right.

I love Oxyclean for stains. Don't know if it will work on this one, but..... I like the spray bottle. And if you used the power stuff, make sure you dissolve it in hot water. And rinse it off totally. Good luck. If all else fails, put a nice white ribbon rose over it.

You could try hairspray. Great for getting out ink stains. If all else fails cover with a ribbon rose or something. Please let us know how it turns out.

First I'd try plain rubbing alcohol. Place the angel on a towel or wash cloth and drip alcohol on the blue ink. You might try gently brushing with an old tooth brush.
If that doesn't work, my next favorite is 'Spot Shot' carpet cleaner. Spray, wait a few minutes and blot with a clean rag.
Good luck with this, the angel is very pretty Please post your results.

if all else fails try this
step 1: using a blue sharpie pen draw a line along the hem line.
step 2: using a fine paint brush dipped in methylated spirits brush
upwards it will give a watercolor look. you can draw other
colors like pink and purple.

The methylated spirits also will remove some ink stains.
Iron on rhinstones may hide it.

Why not try to dye it the same colour, then make another in the colour you want. I am sure you could sew the coloured on something for christmas perhaps a gift bag or stocking A placemat would look good. You will probably receive a good variety of suggestions. Sandra.

How about some sequins on the bottom of the skirt that would cover it up? Did you try bleach or Oxyclean,

I haven't tried bleach in case it ruined the threads .Also I can't stand the smell of bleach.I like the idea of sequins or beads
