The bags look great, Chris. That is one of my favourite alphas as well -particularly nice for wedding type items. I share your misery with the rotten headcold -literally :( I hope it doesn't hang on so long with you and I as a lot of people are finding it does. There is a plus to it -I have a dog here who is letting go of a whole lot of wind (adjusting to a change of diet). Life is suddenly much more pleasant with a blocked nose LOL.
Ha ha you made my morning Marianne! I have just been over to Mum's as she asked me to take her and Sophie to the vet for Sophie's needles. Appt. 8.30, we get there, people and dogs everywhere - only to find she had the wrong day! It was yesterday, needless to say we made another appt for Tuesday. Got in the car and I thought I could smell dog poo - Mum said it might be Sophie letting off! It wasn't I had trod in some! I'm home and cleaning up my sewing room after hanging out the washing. Still have a runny nose and eyes! Trev is still crook too! It's been a bad cold, not the 'flu thankfully. I hope you get over yours soon too. Love Chris
Oh noooo! The very day you'd have felt least like such an outing and it was the wrong day! Still, doesn't it give us all comfort to know that others mess up dates etc as well :) I think the intestinal gas thing might be improving here -that, or it's just that my nose is more blocked, LOL.
They both are so Pretty!!!Well done....
Thanks Sonja, can't wait to give them to the girls and see their faces when they see them. Love Chris
Hi Chris these are lovely and i bet there are a few orders coming your way....soozie
The girls will love them & so will all the other wee girls in their classes. Feel better soon Chris & over here we use Vick's Vapor Rub on our feet with warm & fuzzy to protect the sheets. Sounds yucky but works great to shorten the length of your cold. ~hugs~
Thanks so much and we use Vicks over here too Loralye. I hadn't thought of putting it on though, I just tend to ride colds out. It's been the worst season so far for colds this year. Love Chris
No wonder the girls loved them, they are beautiful. The plain fabric on the front and pattern on back is really great. The gold font writing really stands out. Nice work. Hugs Lynn
Really cute. I'm sure girls will be quite pleased with their new book bags. Glad to hear that books haven't gone out of style yet with all the digital toys kids are exposed to these days. There is something special about holding a book and turning the pages that is so much more satisfying than tapping on an electronic screen.
Love the coordinated fabrics you used Chris. They will love these/Lillian
The girls will be very pleased with these i am sure. What lovely bright colours, and with their names in very fancy gold letters. Great job you have done today when your not feeling well, hope you'll soon be okay again. Sandra.
Thanks Sandra, I hate having head colds you get all blocked up and the nose won't stop running! Love Chris
Love those bright colors and the font is gorgeous,
hugs
Michelle
Those bags are beautiful and elegant, the girls will be thrilled!
Wish you and Trev a speedy recovery.
Hugs, Lidia
Hi Chris, Sorry to hear you are unwell with a head cold, I have Keith tucked up in bed with the Flu too. It has been a bad year for colds.
I just love your Library Bags, the colour combos are great, I am sure the girls will love them.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Love Lorraine
I've had it since the weekend and Trev too, but he is worse! It's just a runny nose and tired eyes for me. It's been raining on and off today so a good day to stay inside. Thanks for the well wishes. Love Chris
Adorable! Love that color and that you use two different fabrics on each side. I'm sure they will be giving lots of hugs.
Thank you Theresa, I liked the idea of double sided fabric too. I'm a bit worried about the pink one as Delphi is a bit of a grub and will undoubtedly get it dirty quite quickly. Love Chris
