A young mother (friend of my daughter's) is looking for a pattern or instructions for that "flip flop" doll...where there's 2 different heads. Do you gals know what I'm talking about? They are an old doll. But her little girl is absolutely enthralled by them. Know where we can get a pattern? Tks!

I knew this as the upsy-downsy doll. My MIL had one that was the blonde yarn-haired white girl and the black mammy with the red handkerchief/ neckerchief on her head and gold earrings. Face details were hand-embroidered. She loved that doll as she was raised by a mammy. Sold for a pretty penny at the estate sale as an oddity from another time.

Yes, I made the Red Ridinghood and Wolf for my nieces and Little Black Sambo and the Tiger for the nephews and gave the appropriate book.. Still have some of the tiger fabric which was hard to find years ago. I Also have Golidlock and the 3 Bears. All came from Mother Gooses' Place, Windswept Estates, Route 3, #37 Charlay, Imperial, MO 63052. The envelope is postmarked 1973,so they may not be in business anymore.

Don't laugh too loud. I have one. She has been loved forever. I adore Little Red Riding Hood. She's a little worn but still beautiful. Red is by herself while Grandma and the wolf share the other side. ( I keep Grannie's hat over wolf) Just loved her. Now she just keeps me company.

tried to sell her once on EBAY but I pulled her out. She deserves better.

Unbelievable but I have her too!! I also keep grannies hat over the wolf most of the time but my wolf nose is not in as good of shape as yours is. I love old items like this and purchased mine from a garage sale about 25 years ago when my kids were little and now the grandchildren enjoy playing with them.
