Good on you Grace, you can't keep a good woman down for long! Hope you recover really quickly and without any hiccups. Make sure you do what the doctor says and keep up the exercise. My Mum has had 3 knee replacements (the first one done in Adelaide years ago, didn't go too well). The two up here have been wonderful and she is 81 and walks everywhere. Love Chris
I'm with you as I'm dreaming of designs in quilting and embroidery whether I'm asleep or awake makes no difference. Hope you have a speedy recovery so you can get back to doing the things you most love.
Thank you. If it weren't for my computer and tv I'd be stir-crazy. Can't concentrate enough yet on a plot in a book, but I have a stack of unread novels by my chair.
Sounds like a great way to recover...hope yours goes well!
Well, start sketching them out for us! Joining in prayer for your speedy recovery and a husband with lots of patience, not patients.
I don't draw. In my dream they were arrayed like in a directory on a computer page. Must have been thinking about embroidery as I went under.
Sounds like the perfect way to recover. Best wishes to you and your health.
Been there so know what it's like. Keep it up as much as they tell you a d ice. Later on maybe heat. Are you going for P. T. later? Thinking about you and praying you'll soon be back on both feet/Lillian
Ice is already a four letter word with me. Physical therapy either at home or back to my local hospital, depending on how I'm doing at doctor appointment. Prayers count!
When I had mine, frozen corn and peas were great as ice packs to help with the swelling. They form to the knee quite well. Make sure to mark the bags so you don't cook them later. :)
Wish I had thought of that, but we bought a nifty ice wrap that fits around the knee with Velcro - one size fits all in this case.
Betsy that is so good that you can laugh right after your surgery. LOL you made me laugh here's wishing a speedy recovery. ~hugs~
It will take a while to heal- don't be like me and push your luck. The housework will be there when you are all healed. If you can, get a walker as it is more stable that crutches. God bless.
See what those drugs do.......... :-)
Now you have time to collect all the designs to make that dream possible. I wish you a speedy recovery.
