Thanks for the link. But her hands!! No way Drove me crazy.
Don't laugh. Last night afternoon I wanted to watch this I fell asleep in the middle of it with my laptop in my lap.
It looks like a great idea if you just make quilt blocks, but if you do other things, ITH, clothing, FSL, I don't think it would work very well. She did say in the video that you can use the one hooping that took so much time, about 100 times, so it would be very good for quilts.
I would hope it would last for multiple hoopings. I wouldn't want to go through the process to often.
It did look interesting but also agree it seemed very time-consuming and tedious; ( especially if you had to go through this routine every couple if times you used the hoop.); have book-marked it to watch again when I have the time - maybe it will seem simpler next time I watch it.
I think everyone feels the same...a lot of time to get the hoop ready, but once its done, it may be a great way of hooping.
I found it interesting but very long winded. Just wish she could have kept her hands still. It looked a good product but I am afraid I would never have the patience to fiddle with all that sticky tape.
tried to watch video and got 31 minutes then it stopped
I haven't used it...I have seen it a couple of times before and watched the video...it looks interesting, but it looks like a lot of work...I am not sure I have the patience...I have done a Sharon Schamber quilt before...they are very labor intensive even without the Hoop de Do!
I thought the same thing, but I guess once you have it all set up it would be quick. Watching her hands in the video drove me nuts....lol...
Yea, but from what I understand, you have to set up the hoop-de-doo after only after a couple of hoopings.
