I have the brother dream machine xv I have just bought the brother scanNcut to couple them together for applique I should be able to download the cut part of pattern to scanNcut go's to p'pocket.....now been told not compatible... the new model that would be compatible not in the U.K.not available till 2015

Unfortunate...would think your dealer should have known and told you they were not compatible..I would go back to the dealer and raise a little cane if necessary...you should be able to return it even if it is for credit when the new one comes out.

Can you return the ScanNCut?? As not being the one you thought you had bought??
There are heaps of freebies out there for stitching with the current ScanNCut, just hard to find at times.
Mine is still in its box since April 2014. Just haven't had the time to take it out permanently.
I love doing applique too.
All my designs from doing P.I.E. with Echidna Club came with the files. So looking forward to trying them all out.
Can you obtain a print of the file, so that you can then scan it into your machine??

Not to sure,bought lot of other items to go with it, I have several designs by Sarah Vedeler the dies for these designs are very expensive so saw the youtube video for scanNcu that is the answer I thought.Thank you.Bernadette

I'm not 100% sure of what you are trying to do, but can you not use your computer as an intermediary step since it can be used with both machines.

yes I can,but I bought this to save all that time,I think the little scissors will be quicker,if you look on you tube sewforum 4months ago you will get the idea..Thank you.Bernadette

Well we are three quarters through of 2015. I do have the same machine but no scanNcut. I am not much help here.

I mostly do appliqué so this would have been a great help,
