God bless you, God be with you, your daughter and family. You have a beautiful picture. lv Aris
So nice to see your beautiful face again. Sorry you had such a terrible year. We are here for you,as I well know when they have helped me when I needed their support. Take care come back as often as you can. Hugs Lynn
Thank you for your compliment! I know you and the Cuties are there for me and others needing support. Hugs, Suzanna
It is good to see you and hear from you. An easy way to get inspired is to watch craft shows. You do not have to have any expectations, just watch a few to hone your thoughts on what has potential. I watched for a long time before I got my machine. I started with clay, then moved to glass (lampworking) and then embroidery, which was an add on to the machine I bought to quilt. It is funny how God puts things in our lives just to show us how smart and funny and beautiful life can be.
Thank you for good advice on moving on. I had a beautiful life and look forward to each day being beautiful day. Hugs, Suzanna
I am so glad you have posted, because I often had wondered about how everybody is doing. I am not very good with words,so I just say: Stay strong, get well, hug your daughter and continue leaning on God.
Thank you. I know I was never out of thought of Cuties. I continue to stay strong and even when I have a dark day I know there is a light to see. My faith has grown and I lean on that for my personal growth. Again thank you, Suzanna
Isn't it wonderful how when we think "I'm not going to be able to make it through this" God scoops us up and carries us along 'till we can stand up again. I'm sorry for your trials and sorrow but I can see from what you have written you have been in a refining fire and come through it stronger. You have a wonderful sister Suzanna and I thank her for this beautiful pic of you. God Bless! /Lillian
Yes I am stronger than anyone thought I would be. Tough yes, but I am standing tall. I will tell sister. Bless you, Suzanna

You have certainly had a tough year, but it is so good to have you back in our arms even if they are cyber arms. Hurry and come back to us full time. You don't have to be stitching to rejoin the family.
It makes me feel good I took this step, baby steps first. I feel the hugs from Cuties. Thanks, Suzanna
You look good! Sorry to hear you have all had a terrible year. Hope you are all feeling better. Nice to have you back here. what a wonderful picture also! Suzanne
Beautiful photograph. I am sorry you have had a bad year. Hopefully next year will be better for you. Hugs Sarah
Beautiful picture, glad your sister took a picture, it is great, putting a face, to a name. Hope you had a good visit with your sister. You truly have had a rough path in the last couple years, thru faith, strength and probably a bit of sheer stubbornness (if you are anything like I am) You seem to be doing very well, working through what you have endured. I have been taught that only through going through the pain, suffering sadness etc can we fully appreciate the health, joy and happiness not only in this life, but in the world/eternities to come once we have returned to our Father in Heaven. I am trying to trust our Heavenly Father, in that teaching, as I sometimes wonder if maybe I could still be happy on the other side without quite the intensity of trials we have endured. Looking forward to your quilt for yourself. I am sure the daughters loved their quilts made with Blackie's shirts, that you have already posted and I think that you may also enjoy wrapping your own quilt around your shoulders, and pulling it tight, so Blackie can once again, give you his hugs. Hugs, Pam
I love seeing the faces of the ladies I've gotten to know on here and what a lovely face you have Suzanna. Praise God for all the wonderful things that have eventuated since your daughter's surgery. I loved your tribute to 'Blackie' and was very saddened to read when he had died. I know he will live in your heart as long as you live and what a comforting thing that is. You take as long as you like till you get back into the swing of sewing and machine embroidery again. Love and blessings Chris
Thank you for uplifting me not only now but in past posts. I just need that "kick in the rear" to start the crafting that is so comforting to me. God bless you, Suzanna
Thank heavens your daughter is doing well and she is done with her surgical issues.....You are beautiful and your face is so kind, happy to know such good people are making it through their trials & tribulations!!
What a beautiful picture! Thank you to your sister. Trials and tribulations are no match for the Hand of God. It sounds as if your and your daughter are healing, it does take lots of earthly time; but is only and instant in God's time. Prayers continue for you both.
Thank you from me and sister! And thank you for continuing to pray for me and my family. Hugs, Suzanna
You look well. Very pretty picture. We can do lots of things we believe that we can't and I believe that we are probably right.....WE can't. Only with faith in God can we pick up one foot and put it down in front of the other. One day, maybe soon, it will strike you. You will see something that you want to do or make. Until then only you will know how long the healing process will be. It will be difficult, but it will be in your time.
That is exactly what I am doing. Stepping upward with the help from Faith, Family, and Friends. Thanks for the kind words. Hugs, Suzanna
What a great picture. You probably never thought you'd smile again after losing Blackie, but you have prevailed. I'm sure you still miss him every day. It's been 15 years since I lost Charles and I'm happily remarried, yet I still miss him. God bless you. Maybe your sewing would be therapeutic at this point? If too hard to focus, stitch something that stitches itself out without a lot of fiddling. (Would eliminate FSL and applique for me) Have you thought of making a quilt with some of his shirts? Blessings on you in your journey.
Yes I did that and posted in previous post. Made for Blackie's daughters. I still have shirt fabric for a quilt for me. Yes still missing him and working on the next positive step of the journey. Thanks for all your beautiful comments. Suzanna
She did make some for his daughters as gifts.
Edit: I look forward to seeing the new quilt for yourself. That will be a cherished quilt for sure
Suzanna you are pillar of strength!
May you continue to be blessed
Hugs
