can someone please tell me what a very nice good quality hankie, one that won't wrinkle too much is made from? Is it made out of Linen or will that wrinkle too much? Any help is truly appreciated

Jerrilyn gave you the best site. You will never find a selection like this in a retail store. Kay

Linen is harsh on a very sore nose, but if "for show and not for blow" it's SO pretty. When you hand wash, lay it flat on your bathroom tile wall and then peel it off when almost dry - very little ironing.

I have just located another source--Giftwagon--at a much better price (I have been called cheap before!). May have to give these a try: http://www.giftwagon.com/ladiespl...

I also prefer the feel of cotton and they wash up nicely. Plain ladies hankies are very difficult to find. For my nephew's wedding, I monogrammed silk hankies for the ladies of the wedding party but have used men's handkerchiefs and cut off the corners to make FSL corners.

Asterixsew, where did you purchase your lady's hankies?

I am a UK cutie and I bought mens handkerchiefs from M&S. I then cut them to the required size. I visited quite a number of shops to see what was available

Hi, linen does wrinkle rather. I prefer cotton and if you can get a cotton with polyester that would be even better as the polyester will mean its much more crease resistant. I know I spent ages looking for decent hankies when I was embroidering some not so long ago. Hope my answer helps
