09/14/15 More phishing out there on the net. DH had his computer taken over as he entered Facebook today (or a file that had been sitting there already was triggered). It froze the screen and he could not get rid of it - said that he should immediately contact Microsoft at the below 1-800-number because he was locked out of internet usage. I begged him not to call THAT number, and called our local computer store for a "working" toll free number for the REAL Microsoft. They were so busy, the recording took his number and Microsoft called back about 2 hours later! The kind man at Microsoft walked my awkward-at-computers DH patiently through several steps of fixing it and he is back with a working computer. So scary. He has a great virus protection on his machine (Webroot) and still this happened.

Oh my! Thank goodness he listened to you and Microsoft was able to help him so quickly. It seems that no matter how good your programs are for malware and viruses, they still get through.
