Great job. I love your fabric and thread choices and oh my goodness you digitized this? Pure talent
Well done and cute. I love your fabric. What did you used to assure the rigidity of the holder :cardboard or "vlieseline" (fabric we use for window valence). Thank you for your answer and for sharing. Amitiés de France.
Thank you! I just used a thin quilt batting. I put it right under the fabric I used on top (there is also a decorator fabric on the bottom, but I used 1 I didn't really like that much). It gave it nice stability on my heavy weight tear-away stabilizer. I also used a popsicle stick inserted into the bottom of the hanger. What you don't see are tabs that are folded under, behind the towel holder so that they can attach to my oven door handle. I don't have knobs on my kitchen cabinets so I had to design my own "hanger".
I like your towel holder. What type of stabilizer did you use?

I used a heavy tear-away stabilizer and a light weight quilt batting. I hate the heavy tear-away stabilizer because it doesn't tear away cleanly, but actually is perfect for this project as it "holds-up" and will do great when washed.
This is very creative---and I am in envy that you too can digitize--I take my hat off to all you ladies that can do that!
