Excellent piece and I do plan to stitch it.
Thank you. It stitches out quickly and so easily. The dark background suggested by Vicki is perfect, although my picture doesn't show it because of the glare. I suggest metallic silver for the plane body. I can't stop looking at mine, it's almost mesmerizing.
What a great job and a wonderful idea, topcat.
Vicki, this angel plane winging it's way heavenward is the perfect tribute. My top hat is off to you. ;)
Fabulous! I think it is just perfect to honor their sacrifice. Well done.
Wonderful tribute tastefully done. Thanks to you and the talented designer for reminding us of those brave people who lost their lives.
It is so sad that the what once WAS "America" is being destroyed through pure hate, greed, ignorance.
Our grand and great grand children do not and will not know what they could have had and was destroyed for them
Thank you. Good people will keep our ideals alive, as did all the heroic figures of 9/11. We regroup and carry on.
Oh my, that is a beautiful design (before I came onto site here, I collected it, thankyou). It has stitched out beautifully.
Very special, well done Vicki, I can see the wings flapping. Hugs Maureen
I Love this design but I felt disturbed by it so I showed this design to hubby & he said the concept of the design is great but the plane is trying to fly forward but the wings are flying backwards maybe this was done on purpose.
I guess it is all a matter of perception.......I see the wings as flapping keeping lift on the plane........they are designed as decorative angel wings and was never intended to be a blue print for a real plane......
Guess aerodynamics is not one of the designers strong points. However, she did a gorgeous design that fits the thought.
basketkase: Wonderful tribute tastefully done. Thanks to you and to topcat5 for reminding us of those brave people who lost their lives that horrible day.

It looked great to me, too! But for those whose eyes perceive differently, just consider it as Artistic License. lol
The best way I can describe my vision for this design is to picture the body of the plane as an angel floating to earth, with its head at the top of the tail, then the wing placement should make sense......
Makes sense to me. Read out the comment To Hubby & he said yairrr good. though the only thing he looked at is a Plane. He used to fly Gliders. yesterday I had a reminder of Aerodynamics
Thanks Vicki for doing this for all who survived this awful day. and to memorialize the heroes on that plane. And to you for wanting a design for this.
Great teamwork here. Thanks for both of you for remembering those heroes so well.
Beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes
It was not what I had been thinking of for a design. It just blew me away when I saw it.
All on this flight were heroes. Bless them and their families.
How beautiful and so generous. God bless all of your "Forever Angels" - love Chris
This was my pleasure to do and thank you for asking.....for obvious reasons I feel it is wrong to make money from a tradgedy....therefor it will run for awhile as a freebie on my website.......thank you so much for testing it for me............
Well, you know I thank you. I just wish I had known how to take a better picture. The design has turned out so beautifully with the silver plane.

What an Awesome thought and design. I love this. About your photo get farther away and then zoom in with your camera lens. It always helps me to get rid of glare.
Thank you for that tip. This is the first time I have ever sent in anything and I couldn't figure out how to make this work as well as I've seen other pictures.
Just takes a few tests to figure out what works for you. Having a digital camera you can always delete the photos you don't want to keep.
